Are you referring to the converted RHD units? If thats the case, forget it and look for the local ones. The converted ones have problems with reliability and safety... and repairs/corrections to the conversion to make them safer and more roadworthy will cost you just as much or even more than getting a local LHD unit.

A local Terrano can go for as low as 300K and a PAjero Intercooler can go for 500K++ but of course this is dependent on condition.

If you ask the peeps like Otep in Tsikot... there's no such thing as a bolt-on conversion kit. What has to be done for a good conversion is to change the steering rack, suspension, brake system parts, AC, etc with that of a real LHD version... and do the weldings again with TIG or MIG welders amongst some. I've done some number crunching before for a properly converted Pajero or Safari and the price went well over 100K for job that will give peace of mind (including some calibration and engine reconditioning work). In the end, you'll be spending just as much or even more than getting a local version and the resale value wont be much even if you did the conversion properly as its still a converted vehicle in the end.

On the RVR, most i've heard and observed was that the selling price is just the same as getting a local Mitsu '96 up Space Wagon.... If you want a JDM look, you can find surplus RVR parts in Banawe. :)

    My 2 cents. :)
