  • must see sa KL - KL Tower saka yung KLCC(Petronas)

a good nearby city is genting, may parang EK(Enchanted kingdom) sa taas (genting is located in a highland - sa taas ng bundok) , dont 4 get to ride the cable car
  • hanskyut

that's where we're going nga! kl and genting highlands! are the amusement parks really worth trying?

where's a good place to hunt for bargains?

saka nga pala when going to the petronas tower, wag mo sabihin sa taxi driver na your going to petronas baka sa gas station ka dalhin , sabihin mo sa may KLCC
  • thanks again hanskyut!

how much is a safe amount of pocket money for kl?

may entrance ba sa genting highlands and then ride all you can na? or pay per ride?

seems wala masyado nagpupunta ng kl dito :(
  • ilang days ba kayo dun?

sa kl , mga short ride ng taxi can cost you ng mga 10 ringgit (like kl tower to petronas)

may bayad po dun sa entrance ng rides, kami dati nag ride all you can kami (outside rides kme, mern kasi na ride all you can na inside rides) more or less 30 ringgit yata, mern din yata pay per ride kaso mas mahal

actually once pa lang ako nakapunta ng kl at genting (via bus from singapore)

just dont 4get the cable car ha
  • Bukit Bintang is a nice place for bargains, electronics that is. malapit lang sya from KLCC. I bought my digital camera there for only P15T (peso equivalent), where here in pinas it's worth P20T.
Nightlife in KL is lame though compared sa atin sa makati. I know only one major place na pinupuntahan ng mga tao.. its a club na nipa hut style (forgot the name).

3days kami dun. 1 1/2 days in genting and 1 1/2 days in kl. package kasi. we want to squeeze in a day tour to singapore nga sana eh, but i think the schedule won't allow us to. is sing really 5 hours from kl? and how long will it take to exit from immigration?

i can't imagine what else we will do in genting aside from the amusement park. oh, and i won't forget the cable car.. :)

i guess eating in their foodcourts is an inexpensive way of sampling food there right? we don't want to spend all our pocketmoney on food alone kasi.

    Fenix

thanks! :) if you have any must-try's, must-do's and must-see's in kl, please do post!

abuso ba the cab drivers there? or we can survive on walking from one place to the other? in downtown i mean

5 hours by bus ang travel time from kl to singapore

mabilis lang sa immigration when going to sg , wala pa yatang 10 minutes pasakay ka na ulet ng bus, matagal lang sia in certain pag weekends(dahil madaming malaysians ang umuuwi pag weekend), haba pila pag ganito kaya medyo natatagalan

maybe you can do a little shopping sa genting, may mga shopping stores din kasi dun e

Manila o KL?
  • As much as I would not trade Manila for KL, you would definately see how far we are left behind by Malaysia. KL is very beautiful infrastructure wise.

We did that Singapore to KL thing by bus....ay nako...wag mong gawin. Sobrang sasakit ang butt mo.

KL, we stayed at parkroyal which is good kasi it's right beside Lot 10, infront of a "ever gotesco" like mall (which is ok na rin kasi andoon famous amos e), and it's one street away from Times Square. :) Not to mention that Parkroyal is fairly new, the interiors are fabulous, service is great and the food is fantastic.

You must to go KLCC--- for shopping, kahit window shopping lang! Hindi ako umakyat kasi no way you can make me fall in line for tickets (which are free naman) at 5 am!

I suggest, don't go to their "megamall" nalang, kasi, parepareho lang naman ang laman ng malls nila. And that megamall place is so far, and hindi siya ganon ka linis.

Must eat -- bah kuh teh. Hindi nga lang kami kumain. Hehehe. As in half the price.

Btw, I suggest, when u go to singapore, don't buy so much yet, chances are, the stuff you want, meron din sa KL, and mas mura pa.
  • shopping - sungei wang plaza or sa time square, you can buy branded clothes sa factory outlet sale..they sell brands like gap, ralph lauren, armani etc. in cheap price.

if u want to go for food, mamak stalls..it's cheap pero medyo madumi..i wonder why it's so popular with the people in malaysia.

u can eat at Hartz chicken, eat all u can in 2 hours..

  • shopping - sungei wang plaza or sa time square-may mini theme park sa loob, parang dreamscape sa galleria, you can buy branded clothes sa factory outlet sale..they sell brands like gap, ralph lauren, armani etc. in cheap price.

if u want to go for food, mamak stalls..it's cheap pero imho, di ko trip yon..

oopps. don't forget to drop by at china town (petaling st) to buy malaysian shirts..pasalubong mo sa pinas
  • must try daw sa Malaysia yung Ramly Burger. Parang Burger Machine yung equivalent dito, but super good and popular. Ramly Burger is illegal in Singapore and selling it is a thriving 'black market' trade in S'pore. It's a burger patty (beef or chicken or fish), seasoned with Asian spices and wrapped in scrambled egg sandwiched in a toasted bun. It's sauce is mayo and sweet-chili instead of ketchup or mustard. People are saying that it's a whole lot better than McD's or BK, and incredible cheap too, around RM 2 or so I've heard. I've yet to try it though....
But I enjoyed buying stuff at IKEA so you might want to check that out. Nag uwi pa nga ako ng chair eh. Na excite lang ako siguro masyado.

Hanskyut, they might be a bit advanced in infrastructure but hands down mas magaganda tayo sa kanila!

    peace
