Trailer Hitch for the Ford Escape

Does anyone know where I can get a trailer hitch assembly for the Ford Escape? Not as expenisive as an original Ford.

I won't be using it for full time towing. I plan to get a Thule Hitch mounted bike rack and it needs a towing hitch to attach to.

Draw ***** makes a hitch for the Escape. But I don't think it will be cheap.

For our Land Cruiser, we just had a local steelworks fabricate a hitch using the one on the Expedition for a basis (and some crude drawings I did). I really wouldn't know how much it cost since the fabricator is my dad's patient (he did the job for free). But I would guess it would be around half the cost of the original part since the billet grille for the Expedition he fabricated (looks even better than the original) costed only half as much. I'm sorry I don't know where the shop is. But I think it is in Malabon.

Anyways, any metal shop can do this job basta may drawing ka or picture.

That's the thing. I'm glossing through the internet looking for schematics. Do you know any?

I saw in the internet aftermarket hitches for just over US$100. Problem is the shipping.

Draw-***** is sold through RIDE Banawe. Why don't you try them. US$ 100.00 is still a bit too much for our budget kasi. That's why we just opted to have one built. Bonus na lang na hindi niya kami siningil.

Lay down under an expedition if you need schematics. Or just print something from the net to show your fabricator.
