Effacement and Dilatation

hi doc! I'm 39 weeks pregnant. I had my check-up last Monday. My OB said I was 75% effaced.

About how long will it take to be effaced 100%? And if 100% na yung effacement, will I begin to dilate immediately?

I'm so anxious, because I feel like I've been pregnant forever. I want to give birth soon!

It's not possible to say when you'll reach 100% effacement. You will not necessarily begin to dilate immediately either, but it is a sign that you're very near labor already.
