  • O/T: It refers to the "sheep-like" attitude of humans; For example, in fashion -- the Che Gueverra shirts. A lot of people have no idea who he is nor cares about Che's 'movement' but wears it anyway because everyone does it... that kind of thing. This quote is meant to promote ''individualism", nothing more :)

Aztig!

Binebenta mo ba yan?
  • cno mahilig sa Takashi Miike films? Magaganda ba ito?

so far i've watched Ichi the killer and the Box. Maganda naman that is kung kaya ng tyan mo Ichi. hehe...but the Box is good IMO. ganda ni kyoko hasegawa.

i've also heard that audition is good.

ilan versions ba meron yung Battle Royale? I've seen one but just wondering kung may prequel/sequel ba yon? :)

i have BR1 and BR2. sequel talaga yung two based on what happened later kina Nanahara. Though BR1 is much much better sa tingin ko.

how about japanese dramas? I find them better than Korean and Filipino dramas because they deal with simpler but more meaningful topics. Kahit 11 episodes lang, mas jampacked pa with lessons than the full season of Mulawin. hehe...

    Check out :

    Summer Snow
    Beautiful Life

Great love stories. I'm trying to look now for Boku Dake no Madonna and Wonderful Life but i think medyo bago pa so hinde pa lumalabas with subtitles. :)

  • Has anybody else here seen the film Crying Out for Love, In the Center of the World? An excellent love story (right up there with Love Letter), directed by Isao Yukisada, of Go and A Day on the Planet fame (2 other excellent movies, BTW). I'm now hunting for the J-Dorama version, which is said to surpass even the film version.

    i collect jdoramas.....
    KimuTaku(kimura takuya) doramas are great

    btw..
    here's my list of doramas:

  • Man, I'm one episode into the J-Dorama version of Crying Out Love, In The Center Of The World (which I'll hereby refer to as Sekachu, it's nickname), and already I'm beginning to see why many consider the series to be superior to the movie. The story is revised and improved to a considerable degree, and the in-between parts that the movie didn't delve into are explored to a great deal. The atmosphere is also much heavier this time around, and my family and I were basically bawling like babies just by watching the first episode's tear-jerking and heart-wrenching climax.

    Favorite scene:
"#1: holding out an umbrelle for me on that day.
    :mecry:
