Car models from USA's Big 3 that you want to see in the Phil.

Given that the USA's Big 3 car manufacturers (General Motors, Ford, Daimler-Chrysler) are already present in the Philippine market with predominantly big SUVs and pick-up trucks, what car models from the said manufacturers would you want to see and probably buy when introduced here in our country.

It's funny because the big SUVs got popular here considering that they hog the roads with their size amidst narrow Philippine roads, they "drink" gasoline, and they are expensive. Wouldn't it be nice to see American cars here instead.

What do you want to see? Car models only - coupes, sedans, wagons, and convertibles only. No SUVs and minivans please. It could run the entire gamut from the lowly Saturn Ion up to crowd drawers Dodge Viper and Chevrolet Corvette.

Right now, I'd like to see the Cadillac XLR.

well aztek is not too bad.

youre right viper is a dodge but all chevys are under gm motors including saturn, pontiac, & oldsmobile.

It seems that based on the replies so far, the sports car models like the Vette, Mustang, and Viper are the popular choices. I'm also lusting for them but I'd go for the stately power of the new Cadillacs in their un-Cadillac styling like the XLR and CTS.

Does this mean plain-vanilla sedans like the Taurus, Focus, Impala, Bonneville, Regal, etc. are not desirable compared to their Japanese counterparts?

from the list ... the only thing i like is the focus... the others look boring compared to their japanese counterparts... the only thing i like about those cars is the V-6 or V-8 engine!

not only that they look pale and boring, but they eat too much gas too! thats why i hate american cars! plus their engines don't last long and usually its liquid/cylender systems blowup everywhere....

the only good about it is when their engines are not f-u-c-k up.

How about the Escalade SUV with its Corvette engine? That thing is awesome! A very nice interior and a smooth ride!
