3/4 ain't that bad...the first one, i really meant it to be a killer, no pun intended...
according to one website i visited, the only nba player in history to die of aids is Chad Kinch, a 6'2 guard who was drafted in the 1st round by the cleveland cavaliers in the early '80s.
and the kid in the jelly bee commercial appears to be wearing a washington bullets jersey from the '80s...even with eyeglasses on i couldn't tell if it actually has the bullets team name/logo, but the color scheme looks right on the dot...

and yes, benchwarmer is correct on the amazing coincidence of highly-regarded pba imports!
dennis hopson (3rd overall, 1987) and chris morris (4th overall, 1988) were both selected by the new jersey nets in the nba draft, and went on to play with the purefoods hotdogs after their disappointing nba careers. and to add to the coincidences, hopson was replaced after one game(in 1997???), while morris was a replacement import! (last year.)
now for my next question...
we all know former cleveland cavs center/forward john "hot rod" williams. what unfortunate nickname was given to washington bullets/l.a. clippers forward john williams?
