Liver flushing -- any scientific truth to it?

heymikeyheymikey SCAN THIS... PExer
I came across this site (http://www.curezone.com/cleanse/liver/default.asp) claiming that liver flushing is good for your health.

What that site claims is that you drink some sort of concoction (there's a bunch of recipes on that site which anyone can make) and it would cleanse your liver and gallbladder. There is even a bunch of photo galleries depicting stones flushed from the gall bladder.

I am skeptical about this and I think it is quack, although, I have met some people who swear by this.

Any scientific proof that this works?

None. It's pure hogwash. Agnes and Lillian can't even get the normal human physiology right. :glee: There are a lot of fallacies and scare tactics being used here by these ladies.
