Does anyone know how to get your work copyrighted, para hindi ma-plagiarize?

You can have your work copyrighted at the National Library along T.M. Kalaw St. right at the Luneta. The tel.no. of the Copyright Office is 524-1970.

A cheaper way would be to put whatever it is you want to copyright into a brown envelope and mail it to yourself. Leave it unopened since the document is now treated as legal property since it's been marked by a government institution.

kartoonista's technique is just to protect your work from being stolen from the moment you filed for copyright till the time the whole copyright process is completed. Having it in a sealed envelope with a postal mark is inutile if copyright has not been filed.
