What if we know when Judgement Day will be?

if you are talking about armageddon (i.e. time of the final and conclusive battle between the forces of good and evil [i.e. end of the world]), i reckon in the bible, God shall reveal signs that would signal that the end of the world is near... so, its a matter of waiting for the first sign, and the rest shall follow... ergo, i think its possible to determine when it shall happen.. and well, we shall soon all know..

in this case, we still have time to prepare before the final sign is revealed -- as for me, i would repent, repent and repent... i would bring myself closer to God... ask for forgiveness.... ask for mercy..

if you are talking about "judgement day", correct me if i'm wrong but, aren't we all judged when we're already dead and when we're already in heaven (for believers only.)?

as far as i know, Judgement Day is the 2nd coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and the "Day" mentioned there is not the ordinary "day" we experience (24 hours).

its a set of events: the 1st resurrection of the dead (those who are of Christ), the 2nd resurrection of the dead (those who are destined to be thrown in the Lake of Fire), the 1,000years (release of Satan[?] ), and others mentioned in the Book of Revelations...

to start with, if I would know the exact date of Judgement Day, i will hold a devotional prayer one year before it comes and do whatever i must do for me to be certain of salvation. To enumerate those "things to do" is what i am still thinking of.

i don't think one can really be prepared to face judgement... (time is no factor)

however, if and when that day comes, i would just have to embrace the inevitable and face the truth - that i am just an imperfect being created and existing to serve a purpose...

whether i've accomplished that task or not is a different story altogether...

acctually, there are 2 realities about this:

1) ALL of us are going to hell.
2) The "get out of hell free" card has already been distibuted! And it's free!

What do i mean? All you've got to do is belive in the finish work of Christ Jesus. That he has paid for our sins when he died on the cross.
