Not that I don't agree with you, I once wanted Hermione to be with either Ron or Harry.... but with all the things that Harry must/should(?) do, I think Hermione would either cramp his style or prevent him from doing most of the lot of them. I think Hermione would be better with Ron since (no offence ment to Ron lovers, I'm a Ron lover myself ) Ron sometimes (well, most often than not) have a tendency to have a very low self-esteem... plus he's lazy on his homework . I guess he needs Hermione more than he knows .

This book made me cry, made me sad and angry, made me laugh! Sana pag movie na ganun pa rin ang effect!

Lovable: Harry, Ron and Hermione
Neville Longbottom
Ginny Weasley
Fred and George Weasley

Can't wait for the next book! But come to think of it, the nearer it gets to seven, the more you crave for more!

my 2 cents worth, re: the characters.

ron and hermione....as lovable and unconditionally supportive of harry as ever.
hagrid...expected to see more of him here. i get frustrated with him though, he is so hard-headed, like he never learns from the past and continues to take big risks. but i still love him.
dumbledore...expected more from him too. its not like him to hide from harry just because of something he knows about him.
neville...am beginning to admire him.
snape....am beginning to have a soft spot for him.
umbridge....i HATE her guts. i hope the centaurs skin her alive.
percy weasly...somehow i'm not that surprised that this happened.
cho chang...she has many unsolved issues, i pity her. just dont think that getting a new boyfriend ASAP will solve it.
sirius...why oh why did that have to happen to him? i love the guy! i cried because of him.
everyone in the order of the phoenix...love them all.
harry....i got annoyed with him in this book. he's always mad, even when there's no reason to be! and i think he DOES love being a superhero after all. and no matter what dumbledore told him, i think it IS his fault that sirius died and they got into all that sh!t.

about the love stories...ron's and hermione's HD's for eachother are becoming more and more obvious. i cant wait till they finally get together! harry...well, now that we know he might not ever get together with cho, i wouldnt like ginny weasly for him, dunno why, i just dont. she's practically his li'l sister.

I agree with you SwarmSpore, I don't like Ginny for Harry as well! Yeah, you're right, Ginny should have been kinda sister to Harry. Although, I think in the story, as JKR is trying to put it, Ron is all for Harry and Ginny! Remember when he looked at Harry after saying Ginny deserve some better guy? Anyways, I am all go for Ron and Hermione!!! But, what about Harry? Maybe JKR might put a twist in the end. I'd like to think that Harry having to think of either dying or killing in Second War, would probably not be involved with anyone just as yet. He would hve his hands full of other tasks, wouldn't he? Oh, well just a thought!

ei could someone please post an image of the scholastic version of the HP5, i got all the harry potter books from 1-5 but they're the english bloomsbury versions. my book 5's cover is yellow with red fonts and it has an image of fawkes on fire in it. just kinda curious about how it looks like there in the phils.

just wanna bump up the thread especially now that the 6th is on its way personally, i enjoyed goblet more than order, the 5th was somewhat dragging, i read it twice (the second one very recent lang) and it still didn't appeal to me very much, although sad pa din when sirius died .... SO NOW THAT THE 6TH ONE IS COMING PRETTY SOON.. I HAVE ONE QUESTION, WHO IS THE HALF BLOOD PRINCE, JK SAID ITS NOT HARRY NOR IS IT VOLDERMORT, SOME FANS THINK IST SNAPE, HAGRID OR EVEN NEVILLE, AS FOR ME, MY MOST INTELLIGENT GUESS WOULD BE DUMBLEDORE WHAT YOU THINK?
