tanong ko lang sayo, is it hard to accept that the school you went to is not as good as UP? I'm not saying UST is substandard institution, pero naman, understood na yan na UP and UST are not in the same level. Mataas talaga ang standard ng UP. tangapin mo na lang yan para tapos na. k?

    Cool

says who? hindi talaga sila magka-level kasi nga mas angat ang UST sa up. and ibahin ba ang usapan? eh ikaw mismo kwinekwestiyon mo kung "OK BA ANG MA IN PSYCHOLOGY SA UP?" how about that? see? you are not even sure about up's standard with regard to its MA in psychology. 'di ba ang labo mo? come on, your lack of consistency is enough for me to conclude that you are bluffing. and why up? hindi ba taga-msu-iligan ka lang?

Hey, mga bossing. awat na yan. ok mas magandang peace na kayo.

well alj, about your question kung ok ba ang MA in Psychology sa UP? of course, ok yon and if i'm not mistaken you can either choose to specialized in clinical or industrial psychology. But why not try to visit the webpage of UP College of Social Sciences and Philosophy and see for your self kung ok nga yung MA nila sa Psychology. And i would also advise you to visit other school's website like UST, La Salle and Ateneo and see their graduate school in Psychology. mas maganda kung marami kang choices.

Why, are you planning to take MA in psychology?

And hey everyone there, bakit yung admission ng Master of Laws ng UP temporarily suspended what's going on there?

    Thanks!

i am taking up Bio. lahat naman ata ng graduate programes sa up ay strict. i dont now about the law school, i guess mas mahirap doon. good luck na lang sa inyong lahat!

correction lang! nag-apply ako months before i graduated (mga March). sori, ngayon ko lang nakita, after graduation ang nalagay ko..............baka pag ganoon, wala na kayong maabutan.

ei...m a grad of NCPAG...i know that thy offer d best governance courses this side of town...and u can also choose which field u wanna focus (unless theyv alrdy revised d curriculum na maging isa na lang MA course on PubAd)...anyway, MA in PubAd is also offered via d Open Univ program of UP, so this s more convenient 2 sum working people..ths means u got 2 meet only about once a month 2 submit papers or 4 lectures...most part of d class r done online like module assignments etc.... i know a lot of faculty from NCPAG who holds high position in the government (both past and present) so u got 2 learn first hand from them!! and not just that...u got 2 b classm8 2 several government officials (during my undergrad i saw Cong. Mike Defensor & Vice Mayor Bistek among others took their MA)...
Admission requirements are same with other schools plus they got an examination 2....
u can also check ateneo school of govt but thyr program s module base so they dont really follow a pattern like that of a regular sem lyk n most schools (bsyds its mor xpensive!!!)
m now takin my masters at ateneo but m plannin 2 go back 2 UP.... anyway, gud lak 2 ur aplication!!!

    Hey basti_amadeus!

Thanks dude for those useful information. yep UP-NCPAG really is a great school for Public Admin. (and yes, Sec. Mike Defensor is good is quite good being the youngest member of the Arroyo Cabinet) I visit the Ateneo School of Government and yes you're right they're in a module type of instruction and VERY expensive!
Hey, i heard the Sec. Emilia Boncodin of the Dept. of Budget and Management is a faculty of NCPAG. is that true?

be careful what you wish for marami akong kasama na nag-babalak umalis dahil di sila maka-adapt sa sistema ng UP (or sa sistema ng Institute namin). i suggest pag-isipan mo muna mabuti. try other schools, baka kasing ok din ang programs nila katulad ng sa UP.

    Talaga?
Pero baka nga sa Institute nyo super hirap...
I dont think I would have a hard time to adapt because this is what I really want and since the passion is there, I believe it would be easier for me to getby. Pero, wala pa ako dun, so I couldnt really tell! Oh well..

Omi, ikaw nga you're there na eh.

    Hi there...
I just started attending grad school this sem. So far, so good naman. Part-time lang coz I'm working. I'm thankful nga kase our organization is very supportive naman sa mga staff so no prob with the sched as long as we do our work. Another thing, lapit lang ng work place ko (sa kapit bahay na university) kakulay nitong smiley

g-miks? wala na din. wala na ngang gaano nungunder grad years, ngayon pa kaya...kahiya man, pero this year lang ako naka attend ng UP Fair, in my entire UP life. as in

you wanted so bad to study in UP? hmm...like one of the us said, isipin mo muna. iba nga kase sistema, environment sa peyups. inquire ka din sa ibang school, baka they could satisfy your thirst for further knowledge better that UP diba? depende din kase sa kurso yan.

Well, about the interview (kahit UP grad ka, me interview pa rin) they'll ask you why you want to take up the course, is it relevant to your work(if you're working) etc...Bale panel interview ito with mostly senior members of the faculty.

    Good Luck!

i suppose your working at ateneo. are you teaching there ba? bad trip sa institute namin, ayaw kaming payagan mag part time, e gusto kopa naman mag apply magturo sa college. kaya ngayon, mukhang napagiisip tuloy ako kung lilipat ako ng program o lilipat ng school. wala lang, gusto ko lang ilabas sama ng loob ko
