One of my favorite Tagalog words is alimuom.

It's what you call the steam that rises from the ground when it rains on a hot day.

Wala raw syang direct translation sa English, but the word muggy comes to mind.

    Wink

    eto salita: UOM

I refuse to use the terms "Filipino" or "Indio" because such names do not exist by that time). Meron siyang tatlong patinig at... 16 yata na katinig.

    Ang pagkaintindi ko ay :

    bagkus: kasingkahulugan ng "kundi"

masiphayo: kasingkahulugan ng "nalungkot" o "nadismaya"

    Halimbawa:

Huwag tayong masiphayo sa nangyayari sa ating buhay sa mundong ito bagkus umasa tayo sa ating Panginoong Dios na nagbibigay ng katugunan sa ating mga suliranin sa buhay.
