how to look good this summer?

its summer na naman.. sooobrang init. i can't stay at home naman lagi kasi di ba bakasyon nga e.. GIMIK days!!
any refreshing technique there.. how to look good kahit super taas ng araw?
me kinalaman ba ang brand ng yung cologne, lotion, powder..etc. to stay fresh!!
post some help naman!!

hi raindrops! it depends where your're going, but for summer, its best to put your hair up in a pony tail, you'll look fresh even if the sun is up. for the beach, remember to first put sunblock especially on your batok.

when just going out, try to wear a foundation or powder with spf. it helps to "protect" our skin to pollution. my brand for powder is Clean n Clear. tapos try to buy yung oil control film, mine is GATSBY, very useful! as for lipstick, no red pls! try to wear one that's close to your lipcolor with shine!

don't put lotion before going out (in the middle of the day for example), yucky yung feeling, malagkit. i use jergens skin lightening, kasi may rumour that nakakaitim daw yung ibang lotions eh.

as for cologne, fruity is always refreshing... lifts the spirits too! however mabilis mawala, try to look sa body shop if you can invest on perfume as it lasts longer.

The best is to bathe with a body wash that tingles..minty or something, it keeps you fresh and cool even hours afterward..then use an after-shower body spritz or light oil to keep skin from drying up..Neutrogena has these...forgot what it was called.

Don't use facial powder, lipstick or heavy foundation too much if at all.. it clogs and runs. Looks terrible pa, and if you sweat it might rub off on your honey.

L'Orealhas that White essence product line, even if tans are a must right now, their tinted moisturizer+spf is the best I've seen and perfect for summer w. mga 380 or so bucks, and it has SPF 45! You can buy this in Rustan's in colourless or porcelain tint, its light and non-greasy.

Substitute your facial powder with BeneFit's Dr. Feelgood, if you have a cousin or friend who can get this for you from the U.S. or HK... it's this clear and matte finisher with Vitamin C that you can wear alone or on top of your makeup, and voila, no smearing, running or that oily shine. Ramp models swear by this one for summer barefaced looks bec. even without makeup your face looks smoother and it tones down flaws.

For this summer's picks...
1) A good sunblock, even if you don't tan. Like Bain d Soleil SPF 50 or Coppertone 45
2) A cool/fresh spritzer or cologne.. try Gap or something.
3) The gym... go tone your body, get rid of the soft look or the last five pounds. Di na uso yung skinny and soft body...a little lean muscle is sexy. And everyone's tired of seeing women who wear tiny tight shirts/tanks/tubes when you can see the bulges beneath their bra/tank straps. Guys find that disgusting...
4) Tankini...maybe bright colors. Even if gypsy style (bleh, again) has come back like a bad remix from previous summers, there are really nice ones! Do yourself a favor and don't wear a baggy shirt+shorts to the beach, it looks like you have no confidence at all.
5) Eat a lot of fruit and vegetables, and drink a LOT of water. Regulate smoking/sleeping at 5 am/coffee, and try going out of town on the weekends.. you'll look and feel better.

Lol I thought its summer all year round in the Philippines except some months are known to be wet.Staying in decent shape is the best way to look good in summer.You can use the most expensive colognes/perfumes but when your belly hangs over your pants its not a good look

For Men

-tank tops, if you have a good toned bod, make sure it fits your body well to emphasize those pan de sals and chests. If you're slim wear something a little loose.

-board shorts, try to look for a pair (summer print would be nice) that will fit you above your knees.

-slippers, flip-flops are your best friend.

lol I'll never be caught wearing sleeveless when I go out unless I'm on my way to the pool or beach.
