Can't believe another school year is about to end. I remembered that in my case, my final term didn't end until April 30, 2011, graduating a term later.

Anyway, good luck to all the ID112 MMA froshes. Heard you guys are going to be the first ever to taste the new ABMMA curriculum for the upcoming school year. Good luck guys!

yung bro ko gusto itong MMA. ang problem lang nya di sya magaling mag drawing. ok lang ba na kunin nya itong course kahit di sya magaling mag drawing? o required talaga na magaling mag drawing para sa course na ito?

i think as long as you're creative and has a wide imagination, fit ka in this course. not an MMA student but I guess that's it

"Heto lagi ang isa mga tinatanong lagi ng mga nagbabalak na magMMA at mga papasok pa lang. Ang masasabi ko lang ay isa lamang advantage ang pagiging marunong sa pagdrawing o pagguhit. 'Ika nga ng isa sa mga iniidolo kong prof sa course, 'Hindi mo kailangan maging magaling sa pagdrawing para mag-excel ka sa MMA'.

Hello,

I'm planning to go to CSB later. If not later tomorrow (Wed.). I'm a College transferee. Well, I have some failing grades and some unofficially dropped subjects. But of course as time goes by, after having an experience working, it made me realze that I wanna have a work wherein I'm getting paid while having fun and a work that's not redundant.

Even before, I am always looking at some type of course that combines Arts and Science. I tried taking up Mass Comm. Well it was okay but how I wish I can apply my "tech-savvy" side to it. I took up I.T, it's okay but I was bored with it. We always follow rules, orders and protocols. We never used our imagination or our creative side. And I hate Math.

I was surrounded by students who were contented with just playing computer games and just loves studying Math.

So I decided to work. Apparently, I always imagine my self in the middle of a movie project or a tv series project. The collaboration part what I love the most specially when going to different places looking for a place to shoot the required scenes.

I figured, if I wanna have a work that I love doing and in order to achieve that, I have to study and get a degree. Hopefully get a Masters degree to be competitive enough.

Do you guys think Multimedia Arts is for me or will it be Film Making?

Oh yeah, I hope someone can help me out at CSB later or tomorrow.

Ano ang mas mahirap at matrabaho MMAPROJ1 or MMABIZ1?

PAREHO. Hahaha! Actually ang MMABIZ depende sa prof kung magiging demanding sya o hindi. Nagkataon mga napunta sa kin demanding, pero ayos naman. PROJ1 as in production na ng proj? Matrabaho din yan. Yan ang pinakama-trabaho sa buong proj sabi ng iba. Na sa sayo na yung kung paano mo iha-handle lahat ng sabay-sabay. Nasa time management rin kasi yan.

Actually kaya naman mag-grad on time. Basta bigyan lang ng tamang priorities yung mga subjects.

@prolamer okay lang po. 22ruan naman po kayu magdrawing. at hndi lanng po iikot sa pg ddrawing ang korz ng MMA. my mga alternatibo pa po ^^. ako din po hindi marunong gumuhit. at hndi rin po required na mgaling gumuhit. make ur best na lanng po. ^_^

If you're serious in taking up game development, IT-GDD na talaga ang mukhang mas babagay sa'yo.

GamerProf, who's a prof for the program, would probably agree with me here.

I chose MMA because it's very versatile a course where I can excel in more than one field that I like. Game development more than likely have to take an incredibly amount of time and focus that I don't think MMA could provide you with.

Animation's cool. It's either you take ABANI or MMA. For me, okay na sa'kin ang MMA but if you want to go all the way, ABANI ka na.

Puwede naman, in the case of MMA, kaso dapat siguradong sigurado ka. At siyempre expect the unexpected once iyon na ang kukunin mong kurso. Kung alam mong doon ka mas komportable, doon ka na magstay.

Iyun lang, mas may matutunan ka sa game development kung sa GDD ka. TBH, limitado ang puwede mong pag-aralan sa Gamedev kung sa MMA ka.

Pero nasa iyo pa rin. Panindigan mo lang dapat iyung gusto mong kunin.

May gusto *** po ako itanong regarding dito sa course na to,kasi po pinaplano ko pong mag enroll sa sa CSB in collage with the said course...so

- May science pa po ba? (chemistry or physics)
- Mahirap po bang makapasok sa course na to?
- Kailangan po ba walang line of 7 pag mag eenroll sa kursong to?
- Lahat po ba ng grades mo titignan?

Balak ko po kasi tong kunin kasi po may knowledge po ako sa illustration,photoshop,animation,web design etc; Pero mahina po ako sa science,kaya tinatanong ko po kung may science at kung kailangan ba wlng line of 7.Thank you po

1. Walang science
2. As with any other college courses, mahirap kasi maraming kumukuha. Pero kung confident ka naman sa pagkuha ng entrance exam sa Benilde, tiyak naman na makakapasok ka sa gustong mong kurso.
3. Average lang, puwede na. Walang hinihingi na average grade per se ang MMA considering the course is basically skills-based. Okay ang line of 7 basta hindi ka naman yung tipong nagfafalter sa mga classes mo sa high school.
4. As with any college/university na gusto mong pasukan, oo. Pero di mo ito dapat alalahanin kung wala ka namang academic problems na hinaharap.
