what makes a person look slutty?

i've had an argument with a person whom, i can't determine whether she's just my friend or my gf right now, since it's an on-and-off relationship. anyway, our argument is about the way she dresses -- she's american, btw. i think it's too revealing, almost slutty, she says its normal. i think she wears too much make-up, and she likes it! am i alone and insane here or what? perhaps, it's a cultural difference thingie. anyway, can anyone please help me and tell what universal qualities does make a woman look slutty?

if she was like that when you met her, why do you want her to change? put it this way, if she does change, then you wouldnt be with the girl you fell in like with in the first place.

I think the word "slut" is something we all ought to have outgrown in high school, for obvious reasons. I don't think I need to preach the whole "people ought to be able to do whatever the f*** they want to do without labels, as long as they're not hurting anybody" thing here, do I?

The only women I'd consider slutty are the ones that you really don't want to do, but do anyway out of low self-respect, or to make an impression on someone, or because you feel like you ought to. Who hasn't been there, right? It winds up feeling just... empty.

Is this an issue on "Are you what you wear?" The answer is: Most definitely. The clothes make the man, so to speak. The image you'd like to portray comes first and foremost from appearance. Face the facts, physical attraction is a big piece of the game. There has to be a reason to walk over and start a conversation, and unless you are in an academic situation, intelligence usually isn't the first recognizable part of a person. We all know that it's everything on the inside that really matters, but your appearance is usually the catalyst.

Do you want her to dress like a preppy pop queen? Even if your personality is not attached to the clothing you wear, the stereotypes are. First impressions are everything in today's world, and the first thing people notice about anyone is their physical appearance. You are what you wear to anyone who sees you.

Dude let her dress the way she wants. Taste niya yun eh!! What do you think you are doing? Trying to change her to suit your own needs? If she is your friend you have to accept her for what she is.

tsk! tsk! tsk! What are you whining about, angle?!?! Have you ever considered that probably you were initially attracted to her due to her "choice" in wardrobe in the first place? Perhaps, your "on-and-off relationship" is what's causing you to seem possesive and insecure. Think about it!

well sa physical side a person thats slutty is : one who wears heavy make-up,wears way too revealing unfashionable clothes,walks like a striding monkey in high heels ,and talks like a ghetto a.k.a jologs!
sa deeper level naman : a person is slutty...if she's way tooo frank as in kung ano laman ng utak nya...kaboom! ala salita agad a.k.a air head!
if a person flirts to almost every darn guy/girl he/she sees..
if she thinks all that she ever does is correct and is high end above the rest!
if she doesnt have any manners or discipline at all..to even act mroe of a human!

As a CARING guy it is perfectly ok to be a little bit protective
of your baby's outfit. I mean, revealing? Can't she try to be a little more simple? She should also at least understand how you feel about it. Most clothes like that are for FLIRTS. But remember, what i am saying now is only under the condition that she is wearing REALLY outgoing clothes.

actually, i never really had a problem with it, until i noticed the reaction of the "environment". lam mo naman dito, PAKIALAMERO / USISERO lahat ng tao! gusto ko na ngang makipag-away nun e, if she just didn't stop me. you cannot control the enviroment, so i was thinking, the individual should adjust. but i guess, americans are individualistic, aren't they? anyway, we have already resolved our conflict. albeit, i will admit, what sukiyaki said regarding the insecurity and possessiveness is true...

A person who cannot carry herself well with the sexy clothes or make up she wears makes one look slutty. Another one is being too loud that appears she doesn't have any breeding at all. Or maybe one who appears to be not repecting herself as reputable being.
