Waist line size from 37 to 31. Medyo complicated.
Diet ... Oats, Cereals, Sweet Potates, Tuna, Chicken Breast, Eggs, Bananas, Bread, sometimes rice to no rice at all.
Drinks ... No to softdrinks, carbonated drinks, juices, even beer ... basta no sugar.
Exercise ... Gym workout 3x to 5x a week, alternating 3 hrs carbon and weights regiments. If not possible walkaton from the highway to our house or weekend bicycle.
Attitude ... Lots and lots of DISCIPLE and stick to your regiment, which I do not have.
Masyadong maraming masarap na pagkain and masayang magparty kasi. I am back to a 33-34 waistline with bulges.

tama si gotta lick it. There's no easy way. Kelangan talaga disciplined, gradual diet and avoid yun mga crash diets as they tend to destroy your metabolism.

Lifestyle change - No rice (2years?), no chocolates, no doughnuts, no hopia. No cheat days. I fell off the wagon a few times (Mernel's chocolate cake is always an exception hehe) but got back on -- immediately and strictly.

Everything else in moderation. Carbo substitution lang - I still did pasta and bread, preferably wheat or multi-grain. Kahit diet soda di ko naiwanan Getting rid of rice was easier than I thought though, mahirap lang naman first week or so.

A lot of cardio (30 minutes to an hour before and after -- run, incline walking, etc, 3x a week)...pero I was losing too much weight (I wasnt actually big BIG as in to begin with so I tapered down my cardio). Had a trainer design a program for me, now I'm more on cuts than bulk, and doing pretty well in that area as a lot of people have noticed the change...not like ahnold-bulk pero more defined that the average guy.

^ not for me, when I'm depressed(basted after 1 year of courting and then my father died) I eat my heart out kaya lumobo ako from 150lbs to 163lbs with 34 waist tapos tinamad mag gym. 5 months ako di nag gym at kumain ng kumain ng junk/sweets/beer and unhealthy foods.

Good thing I found my new inspiration, motivation and discipline now i'm back on track. Got my weight back but still has the beer belly.

GOAL: flat belly/visible abs by summer next year

i was nearly 170 last March this year, dinner kasi ang mabilis magpataba sa'kin eh every night eat out kami ni ex nun.
then last June i started jogging sa umaga, then Nestea Fit yung drink ko every 30mins gap ng pagjojog. then sa lunch, half rice lang kinakain ko, ulam is veg+fish or veg+meat, pero mas madalas iwas meat. mga june-july yung half rice. nung august up to now, 1/4 cup nalang na rice then dinadagdagan ko serving ng gulay. that full meal is either breakfast or lunch. and also, i make it a point to eat banana, kasi yun ang madaling mahanap na fruit. better kung may iba pa. pero halos banana lagi e hehehe. hindi na talaga ako nagdidinner since june, then i take hot tea sa gabi.

    i'm a guy, 23 years old, 5'6, large-frame.

i enrolled in a gym for a 3-month program. i wanted to lose weight. i was weighing 182 lbs when i started. after 2 months i already lost 22 lbs, i'm now at 160 lbs.. my waistline is now 33 inches from 36. my target is to reach between 145-150 lbs and of course less body fats.

i go to the gym 6x a week. every session, i run 30 minutes on the treadmill, lift weights for 30 minutes (dumb bells and machines), and do 30 minutes of abdominal exercises. i only eat very little as i count calories, and only breakfast and lunch. very little to no rice, little meat, lots of fruits and veggies, lots of water.

now my friends are worried because of my drastic weight loss. or is it really drastic? or i'm just on target? please advise. am i doing it right?

    thanks in advance.

right diet and exercise are still the best way of losing weight since they are safe and natural.

based on experiences, pills may be effective but it also comes with a great price and SIDE EFFECTS. (unfortunately, most of the time, it's bad for our health)

if you're not in a hurry, i recommend regular exercise and correct diet (NOT starvation). if that alone doesn't help, then try safe food supplements that will increase the effectiveness of your regimen. there's this scientifically tested product you might want to see: http://bit.ly/aArF9u and there are a lot of safe supplements out there to try.

    hope that helps.

Hi, I suggest you eat small frequent meals.

ito explanation, copy-paste ko na lang

    • It takes about 3 hours to digest a meal – hence 5 meals/ day

    • Frequent eating helps control craving-induced binging, which is what tends to happen after going many hours without eating. You’re so hungry, you want food, any kind of food. This is when it all goes wrong!

    • Avoids the excess calories eaten during large meals, which the body, unable to utilise, stores as fat. Small meals eaten more often will reduce fat storage.

    • Leaves you feeling satisfied and hunger free

    • Your energy levels will not crash.

    • Eat every three hours and your body has to work, speeding up your metabolism. Missed meals slows metabolism down.

    • Stabilizes blood sugar and insulin levels, which in turn help control appetite.

    Talking decisions decision

From 160 + lbs down to 120lbs (last time I weigh in)
    Height : 5’3
    Waistline from 36 to 29inches…
    For 4moths….

What you need first before dieting or enrolling yourself to the gym is DECISION para di ningas cogon, sayang ang pang-enroll sa gym, I tend to start things and not finish it. Nag enroll ako sa gym last December but I decided to be serious about it last June. I go to the gym at least 3-4times a week, doing 15mins on treadmill, 15mins on wave, 15mins on stepper and 15mins on Rotex. Then I do floor and core exercises afterwards…leg raised, push ups, sit ups, cables and right now konting weights etc, basta at least maka-spend ako ng 2-3hours sa gym…I can’t say am on a diet kasi I still eat what we have for dinner and indulged in my cravings…but I don’t drink colas and sodas anymore, half rice per meal or if kaya ko, 1rice per day then sa other meals no rice na talaga…I’m into coffee, my officemate introduce me to a kind of slimming coffee, I’m taking it if I will not gonna be able to go to the gym or during my rest days so dunno if it helps in reducing my weight aside from going to the gym….I was obese for more than 5years akala ko kasi wala ng pag-asa, now ko na-realize na hindi pala…so may regrets ako, sana I should have started sooner if alam ko lang na may pag asa pa mag loose. ang pinaka reason ko lang talaga is for healthy purposes coz I’m not getting any younger…but right now, since may nabawas, the more I wanted to lose weight or at least ma-tone and maintain man lang kaya am into forums talaga reading other people’s diet and regimen. Learned a lot from this thread. More tips po....Thanks!!!

Discipline is the key. Also, count your calorie intake.

I'm almost halfway down to reaching my ideal weight. Im 5'6'' ,16 years old. Less than a month ago, I weighed 190lbs and now, I'm 174lbs. What I did at first was to lessen the amount of food I take in every meal, then last week, I enrolled in a gym. I use the elliptical for 1 hour then use other gym equipment for 30min. At home, I try to burn 300 calories in our stationary bike.

Before, I just eat and eat and eat without even knowing it's nutrition value. Now, Im very conscious on how much calories I take. Also, pag nagugutom ako and nagcrave for food, I eat grapes or blueberries then drink a lot of water. When I have nothing to do, I play basketball or volleyball in our backyard (playing against the wall).

I hope I can maintain this diet regimen that I have.
