De Lima thanks Time Magazine for including her as an "icon".

Dutete on the other hand through Abella spins it horribly by telling a lie.

that was De Lima's reaction and this was the spin that Abella made which is a lie. the Time Magazine poll did not ask the question. Abella only invented the "aspirations for the poor" spin.

Dutete is so desperate to have something good said about him that through Abella, they are now telling lies about it.

Having Leila de Lima on that list and being called an icon made Time's credibility plummet. What is De Lima an icon of? Sexual harassing boss who [email protected] her married drivers?

    Tatak dilaw = tatak kabit.

Ano ngang nangyari sa Kathniel sa kaka-associate nila kay Mar at LP? Eh diba nalugmok ang fanbase now they're nowhere near half their popularity before the campaign period na wala pa sila sa payment list ng LP.

Same thing that happened to Korina, Jim Paredes(respect na wala sa kanya, since laos na siya way before pa).

At the end of the day, what they want to achieve is influence the masses to turn their heads and rally against the government. Nice try, but it won't happen. Parang article lang 'to ng New York Times, going down in history's most forgettable media spins.

TIME's only for pure vanity anyway. As a has-been status symbol that cheap people would compete raising their hands to to just proclaim that they constantly subscribe to one just to make them feel like a better, more updated, breed of human beings.

No surprise there. Eh hindi nga siya makapagtawag ng retweeters or any form of activity sa tweets niya, what more pa yung manalo sa argument.

Being influential curtails an effect felt in whatever industry one is in.

Besides this is a poll. I remember someone here posted that Duterte was in because of Filipino Pride. Should the same reasoning apply also to De Lima?

Duterte and De Lima in the 100 Most Influential People and coming from 1 country is like having good vs evil. Duterte as evil with the 7T EJK killings and De Lima as good being an icon.

what has those got to do with the media reports on the 7T killings done by Duterte's EJK? none of those negate the reports.

there are also many other agencies and groups who have reported the 7T killings - the PNP, UNCHR, the US, EU, Reuters, CNN, New York Times, Time, and that is just to name a few,

it's a good thing people are just brushing this off. it's like, de lima is in the list? ok. do i need to get influenced by this news? nahhh. i know better. end of story.

De Lima in the list same as Duterte in the list is a big thing. Duterte likes to place De Lima as an enemy, someone in the opposite end of where he is and yet in this article Duterte is D written up as the killer of 7T people on war of drugs that is destined to fail while De Lima is written as someone that should be emulated and admired for standing up to Duterte and for being unjustly persecuted by Duterte.
