wow! you guys are amazing!! can I just post newbie pencil sketches? and if you guys have the time can you guys give me some advice? thanks!

oh, and I consider myself a "wannabee artist" since I just draw what is already drawn by someone else (is that plagiarism?). I do not consider their drawings as my own or anything I just want to see if I'll be able to draw something as close as theirs. I just like drawing and seeing what started as lines transform to something more.

hindi po yun plagiarism. ginagawa talaga yun nga mga artist kahit noon pa. with the purpose of learning. as long as you don't try to pass it off as The Original. The Monalisa, for example

it's ok to try to copy others. that's a good way to learn.

Tama si master. Ok lang gumaya sa gawa ng iba as long as natututo ka. Basta wag mo lang aakuin na ikaw ang original. Ngayon pag kaya mo nang gumawa ng magandang obra na sarili mo, yun na. Ikaw na.

hay nako tagal ko nang di nakakapagpintura. kaya eto, colored pencils nalang muna habang nagaantay ng mga meeting sa opisina.


in case anyone's wondering, yes may daya yan. i cheated a bit. nagprint ako ng B&W photo na sobrang faint. Then saka ko pinatungan ng pencils. (sorry tamad magdrowing hehe)

Pa-post kahit sobrang wala lang tong gawa ko kumpara sa mga gawa ninyo.


Digital doodle lang. Sketch muna sa papel tapos kinulayan sa Ps.

Hindi ko lang talaga makuha yung effect ng water-color sa bamboo versus kumpas ng totoong brush kaya ganyan nalang.
5months na ako naka-bamboo pero hindi ko parin makuha yung tono. Kulang lang siguro parin ng praktis.

Hello Sir kydlat. Eto parin ako mediocre parin, wala paring personal style. Though I'm going to work it out slowly this time. Sana.

naka calibrate ba yung bamboo mo to be pressure sensitive?
are you using photoshop?

if yes, you can achieve watercolour effect just by tweaking some brush settings. and tama ka, practice lang yan.

Yes sir. Ps po yan. Nagdodoodle rin minsan sa Ai para bold yung lines & colors.
I'm always held by the thought na ma-criticize agad ng tao, instead na ilabas ko yung totoong gusto kong ipakita o yung letting it come naturally/from inside me kumbaga.
