Minnesota Timberwolves Thread: Winter is Coming

First of all, best of luck to Kevin Love in Cleveland. We'll miss him but we're also excited that we get to rebuild with this year's #1 overall draft pick, Andrew Wiggins. I don't think that we will make the playoffs but our team still looks solid and will cause problems to the top western teams for sure.

    Projected Starters:

    C - Pekovic
    F - Young
    F - Wiggins
    G - Martin
    G - Rubio

    Bench:
    Mo Williams
    Dieng
    Turiaf
    Bennett
    Brewer
    Lavine
    Budinger
    Barea
    Hummel
    Muhammad

This will still be a fun season and with Rubio + Wiggins along with Lavine and Brewer, there might be a new Lob City this year.

    diba dapat "the LOVEless Era."

hindi pa humahaba yun old thread, gumawa na ng bago. kahit wala si RRubio, they still have JJBarea and MWilliams. not so excited about LaVine.

promising young and talented team. good riddance to KLove who dragged this team in previous seasons.

With his athleticism he does have high ceiling. He seems like he will be a solid defender. I don't think he will win ROY though. I have NNoel winning ROY this year.

noel is injury prone. plus he will have a hard time against parker. parker will be the roy no doubt

Interesting to see what this team will be like. I think we are going to see a lot of highlight plays involving Rubio and AW.

Subscribed! I'm excited for Wiggins debut tonight!

Wiggins scored 6 points in his NBA Debut vs. Grizzlies.

    good start 2-0.

what is great are the point distribution. 8-10 players can contribute.

    nawala yun confidence ni ZLaVine.

Hmmm. Mukhang hindi aabot ng 30+ minutes ang playing time ni Wiggins.

okay lang. 19-24mins only. there were other guys who stepped up. for a rookie, he should be thankful that the coaching staff has the confidence to let him start.

maganda yun kompiyansa at kontribusyon ng ibang players especially the veterans.

Medyo kabado pa si Wiggins. Walang ka hustle hustle and hunger yung laro niya di kagaya nung rookie ng Bulls at ni Smart. I don't think he's gonna be an NBA Superstar. His lucky if he can be as good as Demar Derozan.

Yan kasi ang kahirapan na tinatawag na siya ng ESPN na next big thing since he was 13 yrs.old pa lang. Medyo raw pa si Wiggins, and kailangan niya na improve yung handles niya. Hinde pa siya NBA ready kagaya nina Lebron, Melo, and Durant at age 18-19.

Still, they're fun to watch with Thad Young, Pek, Rubio, and Wiggins.

still can't get over the bust move passing on Curry for Flynn who?

Rubio-Curry-Love + decent wing and big man, all bases covered
