We'll put in some UAAP TRIVIA in this website which we have researched for the past years.

If you know any other trivia (factual and sensible, ha) - you are welcome to post in this folder

Did you know that the RP-UAAP Soccer Team Selection that went to 1996 Asean University Games in Brunei accomplished a feat that even the country's National Soccer Team failed to accomplish in 30 years ?

The RP-UAAP Soccer Team won a bronze medal and they defeated Malaysia 1-0.

During the 1990 UAAP season (when DLSU won its second basketball title) La Salle swept all its 7 games in the second round of the elims. The winning margin in EACH game - 2 points.

During the 1987 UAAP season, Ateneo fell behind by 20 points with LESS than 10 minutes left in game two of the finals. The team rallied to win their first championship in the UAAP.

The 1985 UAAP basketball finals showcased a shootfest between two future PBA superstars. Allan Caidic scored 42 points for UE while Pido Jarencio tallied 37 for UST. The Red Warriors won the title that year.

That the Green Archers has made it to the finals of the UAAP 10 times in their 14 years in the league.

And that they have always been in the finals since 1994.

Such a far cry from our unworthy rival who has been in the UAAP longer but has only yielded 2 championships.

Thumbs up

the adamson baby falcons is the winningest junior team in the 90's. they won 6 consecutive championships from 1988-1993, beating the ust nuggets in 1988, ateneo in 1989,1990,1991,1992, and zobel in 1993. their winning record is so far unbeatable in the junior division of the uaap.

UST's Aric Del Rosario is the longest staying coach in the UAAP. He started as coach of the UST Nuggets in 1980, moved on to the Glowing Glodies in 1985, was replaced from 1987-1989, got back the job in 1990 and gave UST 4 consecutive titles when they changed team name from Glowing Goldies to Growling Tigers.

Heard from somebody that the first Filipino F1 driver was a Lasallian or Lasallite. Depende kung kelan siya nag-aral sa La Salle.

it only means one thing my la sallite friend... La Salle is good in basketball(as well as producing artistas).we're sooo sorry if we are "unworthy". we just concentrate more on academics than on basketball... unlike your beloved school.

Boogie-woogie Man,

Good, concentrate more on your academics, you need it considering your school is behind us in the rankings.

Your right! DLSU concentrates in basketball .....because we dont have to concentrate on acedemics since we already excel in it

I don't know if you're talking about Jovy Marcelo. Jovy, a Lasallian, was killed while in competition.
