because CSB Pep has cheerleading in their hearts. when we perform, we treat it like it's our last performance. we give our best... 110% we pour our hearts out into every dance, cheer, etc

i wondered why DLSU joined the RX cheerleading contest cuz they never have before. we joined it thinking that we're the representatives of the DLSU system. we didn't think that DLSU pep would be our opponent. besides, they have the UAAP cheering thing. why join RX? i mean, come to think of it, it's kinda messed up cuz we are under one system, although we are 2 different schools fighting for one trophy. kinda idiotic, isnt it? it's like, whoever wins naman, it's for the De La Salle system naman eh. kahit sino manalo, we're all winners here.

i agree khakiskirt pro i guess lahat ng schools had the right to join the rx competition...they even supported us during the 1st rx cheering competition sa Mars...maybe they thought of it as a warm up and the cash prize much bigger....hhhhhhmmmmmm....but the dlsu pep are good and they've improved...they could do liberties na, hindi lang 1 ha as in around 5 girls! wow...bow ako sa kanila...

talaga? csb edged dlsu sa rx cheering competition... weird! thinking na csb got most of its cheers from the lasalle pep squad, right? may mga original cheers ba ang peppers? the last time i heard they have three new cheers...man, i have to watch the game between csb and letran to find out... did you guys use the same cheers, i mean the rektikano, lasalle/benilde spelling? (buti na lang same number of letters)

and oo nga pala, where/when was the event held?

i have seen both performances...and all i can say is, CSB PEP put more heart than DLSU! they got beaten by dedication and intensity!

CSB did not only performed for themselves, for their school, for the crowd...they performed that day to build a LEGACY and gain RESPECT!...and the best part of it is...they got what they wanted! GOOD JOB!

kaya *** ***** nanalo dahil very reliable ang mga judges! talagang may background sa cheering! Tingnan nyo ha...if i remember right one of the judges is Victoria!...hmmmmm....kayo anong masasabi nyo? Pangalawa.....si Chill (ewan basta ang alam ko after magperform ng Benilde one of their members approached her at binigyan ng kiss (di kaya kamag-anak?) Anyway ang huling judge ay isang sobrang energetic na lola na taga PCA daw (Philippine Cheering Association)... yun lang salamat! Anyway congrats sa Benilde!!! Before I forget kasama pala si Chinggay ng rx sa mga judges! Di ko lang alam kung nag-cheering yon.

i don't think mei kamag- anak or anything ng pep dun sa mga judges no- i think it was just a fair competition. Fortunately for csb because i think they really placed their hearts when they performed.

yup! rektikano & benilde spelling was used in that competition. I think it was held last year at chatterbox, galleria. sana u were there because it was a good fight!

tama ka dun, the ceiling was low pero they still managed yung mga liftings nila. Both of them did well kaya nga lang the other did better.

erman>; the csb squad is a relatively young squad, formed during the 3rd quarter of 1994, and we do have the same cheers as the main pep, pro we are trying our best to create our own cheers, in fact we have our own signature drumbeat and our drummers are working on 2 more...the year 95-96 were witnesses to three new cheers (a new benilde spelling, san benildo, and nakalimutan ko na yung third) which were composed by pep alumni but are yet to be used again because they are being refined

well, i don't if this is tru but as of what i heard the old pep of DLSU was mostly composed of benilde people. i think that's why they had a slight problem about joining the UAAP cheerleading competition last year because the rules changed. the entire team is supposed to come from the main school only. so maybe that's why the benilde team won over the DLSU team because they're kinda more used to cheering than the rather new DLSU team. but hey, give the DLSU team some time and for sure they'll do alot better next time right.

tapos na *** competetion, we won for the whole dlsu system not just for benilde! i do beleive that we proved something that night, not to take away anything from the dlsu pep they also did well. regarding the judges, they were impartial, la kaming kamag-anak or anything sa mga judges. i dnt even remember all the judges all i remember is si chill, and one dj of rx, i think there were 5 or six judges. That night was really a big win for us because we defeated the dlsu squad, the squad which taught us the la sallian cheers. We won because we had the bigger heart! regarding the members of the dlsu pep who are from csb, i think there were 3 or 4 of them who performed that night. another thing, when we all found out that UP and UST backed out of the competetion, ako *** linapitan ng president and trainor of the dlsu pep to ask me kung gusto namin exhibition nalang instead of competetion the split the money nalang, i said no cos we went there to compete. and to answer the question why we won, we are probably better, not only in the performance itself but in unity as a squad and our intensity when we perform! tama na sana sourgraping kung sino man jan naiinggit! the first rx competetion we beat UP who won the UAAP cheering competetion so we have proven that we are the squad to beat! we are the best!
