For sure, maraming magsasabi na wala parin tatalo home made recipes.

Pwedeng kanto BBQ, pwedeng restaurant BBQ!

dito sa may subdivision, barriato's barbecue.

my org mate's pork barbecue recipe (just toyo, brown sugar) is surprisingly good and popular during org outings and org boodle fights.

for chicken barbecue for me nothing beats aristocrat boneless chicken barbecue.

    Ang sarap nga ng aristocrat.

Pero parang pumayat yung mga manok nila. Sana mabalik uli nila yung tender and juicy.

Sa bbq, we take out lapids to eat as ulam at home.

Pinoys have mastered its food prep.

Madami na. Masarap yung countryside. Meron din na masarap sa baclaran. The best parin for me yung lumang mang siding's. iba na timpla nung namatay na yung matanda.

Ngayon mayroong konting iba sa lasa nito, can't really put my finger on it . That said, dinadayo pa rin naman ang Aristocrat at kahit sa mga balikbayan popular pa rin ito as it brings back good memories.

For Barbecued ribs the best I had was from this small eatery at Station one in Boracay. Did a google search and based on the pictures I think we ate at a place called the Original Hawaiian Bar-B-Que. Paki tanong niyo na lang if they also serve Chocolate shakes, because if they do ito na nga iyon .

2 places never fail me :

    Aling Nene's BBQ.

sa south super highway/ Osmena Hway.. it's right underneath where the old MAKATI Agila used to be. walang parking space though.

they move around everytime the building their outside stall sits on gets demolished... last i saw was a yellow sign on a gate that says bbq. it could be them now finally getting a permanent place.

ever since countryside moved to their current new location underneath that CS place building, their food has gone bad.

they used to serve overpriced karinderia food.. fair enough atleast it was good.
now, it's overpriced [email protected] karinderia food.

I always pass by this place, how good is good? I haven't found a place that has good BBQ flavor plus tender meat.

OT: Alex III's boneless chicken BBQ never fails me

i would say, it's really worth stopping for.
in terms of "pinoy style' pork BBQ, it's definitely one of the best ones.

tagal na akong hindi naka kain ng Alex 3rd... and i've been craving for good aristocrat chicken for a while. the current aristocrat franchises are OKAY. but i remember them to be much better back then.

Serye used to be good. but they've gone down in quality rin. anyway.. is alex 3rd better than aristocrat's ba?

I should try it one time, the hard thing would be the parking.

I generally like Alex III's boneless chicken BBQ compared to Aristocrat, it's a lout juicier. I live near Alex III so it is very convenient for me. I tried the Aristocrat in S&R Shaw and it was okay lang. I can't say for the Chicken BBQ though.

before we used to unwind at J&L's along Tomas Morato. it is an open air pork bbq grill in front of an old apartment with a tree at the sidewalk. now it is gone because it gave way to commercialism.

    Used to be better.

There used to be three roadside bbq places around the area owned by the same family. Originally, one place was called mang siding's and another was aling nene's and the third was mang siding's and aling nene's. owned by three siblings, mang siding and aling nene's bieng their parents.

Mang siding's served beer and had juicier bbq. Aling nene's catered and cooks lechon. And the third remIned a roadside bbq shack. One had a gambling problem and the other immigrated.

Now only aling nene's remain. But the quality has changed. And harang na presyo. I remember we had breakfast there one time. We just had 8 sticks of bbq, one bowl of sinigang, two other viands, rice and coke and i paid more than Php. 800.00.. medyo mahal for a carenderia.

I think their bbq costs Php. 30.00 per stick. It's still pretty good, the bbq is tender but dry, not covered in sauce and not as good as three sister's over at pasig kapitolyo.
