Letran: Tinalo nang CSB, nanghihipo pa ng cheerleader!!!

No wonder Lasalle never went back to the NCAA. A cheerleader of the CSB pep was on her way to perform at halftime when a Letran player passes by her and touches her butt. Bastusan na ba?
I hope this thread will make other pexers aware of the occupational hazards of being a cheerleader. What are your suggestions and violent reactions to this incident? It's enough that we see benchclearings and flying elbows and mineral water bottles in the court, do they have to that? Mabuti na lang at natalo sila!

i'm a lasallian and i dont think CSB deserves NCAA... puros garapalan doon... and to think of it.. maraming mga uncivilized players... who don't have respect for themselves....
my suggestion is that why not ask the CSB pep squad to make it pure guys.. well, no offense..kung bastusan lang ang aabutin diba?

I'm from DLSU, pero I watched this game din...I just want to say na super laki ng inimprove ng CSB this year! Al Magpayo was really good, and so were Dino Perlas, Mark Magsumbol, and the 2 point guards. Pati yung isang tall guy...Capani ba name niya? Basta ang galing niya!
Galing din ng pep...yung mga taga-tambol ha, not the dancers. Super lakas ng drums, and nakaka-hawa yung energy. Pero the dancers weren't that good....madami pang room for improvement.

thanks to all who complimented the csb pep squad!!! regarding being all boys kasi sa bastusan, whenever naman we feel na there's a chance mabastos yung girls all boys ang nagpeperform, isolated incident lang ***** yung kanina. and as much as possible we never let the girls walk around without company of the guys during games. dami nga talaga bastos sa ncaa pero there's really nothing we can do about it. thanks for all the support sana 2loy 2loy na ang panalo and ang support!! next game on monday vs. baste nood ulit sana lahat ng nanood!

Oh my God! Well, for one thing marami talagang mga manyak sa NCAA. Anyways you say a Letran player touched the butt of a CSB cheerleader? Letran has always been known or infamous for boorish and disorderly behavior. Remember last year's finals vs. JRC? During the halftime show of the 2nd game the Letran crowd threw things at the JRC pep squad triggering a rumble among the fans. In 1995 Letran squared off with Mapua in a bench-clearing incident which also involved the crowd. Of course the worst Letran-related case was in Aug. 1980 against La Salle,(check out the article"Blast from the Past" sa www.greenarcher.net) wherein their fans instigated a riot during that game, eventually leading to the Archers' withdrawal from the league. Buti walang ganyang mga nanghihipo sa UAAP.
The breeding of some fools in the NCAA has totally gone to the dogs.

I'm from San Beda, and i just wanna comment... mga JOLOGS talaga ang mga Letranista na yan!!! What would you expect?? We just used to them kasi wala naman talaga sil;ang maibubuga... face it guys!!! They're just good in basketball lang naman... when it comes to being competitive else where eh... talbog na sila. Pakitain niyo what you guys are made of.. di naman kayo kaya nun eh!!! Good luck sa inyo!!!

I haven't followed the NCAA closely, but according to older generations of La Sallians, there was an unspoken alliance between the Bedans and La Sallians during the latter's NCAA days. I'm wondering if the Benildeans are continuing this San Beda-La Salle connection?

x-men>; regarding the all-boys change...maraming mag-ooppose dyan: first, the members, then the alumni, then most of the admi, then the students...the csb squad have gone through so much for the past 6 years and won't allow it to happen...now, whenever we're playing against letran, we sort of expect na mababastos ang girls, pero were cheering and dancing for our school, benilde, and don't really care much about their boorish ways...

i agree with kayo that what transpired was an isolated case and does not happen all the time..."and this, too, shall pass" ika nga...pero it was bound to happen sooner or later...tsk tsk tsk...letran people talaga

So what else is new? Even in the UAAP that happens, hindi lang nga Physical, pero Emotional and Sexual Harassment. Hindi ba laging binabastos yung Lasalle PepSquad(specially the prettier members) nang mga students from UST, UE and FEU during the halftime show and when they are on their way home after the game, outside the game venue? Eh kami nga sa Blue Babble, all guys na, binabastos din eh. I remember after a game in Ninoy Aquino Stadium way back first round 1994, I think it was Lasalle vs. UST first game, then Ateneo vs. UP second game. We were parking our cars outside the venue when we saw the Lasalle Pepsquad members crossing the street on their way to the parking lot, when a bus full of UST students passed by and shouted invectives and other sexually charged statements at the pretty pepsquad girls, the male pepsquad were powerless naman to do anything kasi, siempre isang bus yun nang UST fans eh. So what else could they do? So they just tried their best to ignore the bastos UST people. Kami sa babble we just learned to live with it because we considered that a normal occurence in the UAAP and in any league for that matter. And that was also one of the biggest reasons why we strongly oppossed the integration of girls into the Blue Babble Battalion. Ayaw namin na bastusin ang mga Atenean girls nang mga taga-ibang schools.

i agree with x-men, all boys na lang dapat yung csb pep squad. why give people(if you could call them that) from ill bred schools like letran a chance to make bastos gestures to girls from opposing schools. who was the player from letran anyway? he porbably has a sister who gets molested regularly by his dad, or a mom who likes to sleep with the mailman.

I cannot believe that player had the nerve to do that to one of our members! It shows na wala talaga silang breeding! I mean if they hate it when people call them "jologs", why do they do these things. Napaka MANYAK nila. Grabe ha! You know what? Something else happened after the game that proves wala talaga silang pinagaralan... I was so furious with what that player did, so my friend and I went to the Letran dug out sa rizal... we talked to one of the Asst. Coaches and told him that he should tell his players to get some manners... that what his players, particularly #8 SORIANO did was degrading... you know what the Asst Coach said??? He goes, "paki sabi sorry nalang" HELLO!?!?!?! Sorry nalang??? Sorry nalang that one of our girls got harrased! Grabe ha! You know what I said "Sorry ka dyan... kaya kayo nasasabihan sa squatter eh!" Grabe talaga! I can't believe these Letran Knights! They can go and rot in hell for all I care! Buti nalang talo sila.. tambak pa! HAHAHA! Congrats Blazers! Animo Benilde!

I agree that the girls and guys need improvement pa. that's why we spend lots of time practicing eh but I have to say that the girls and guys who danced yesterday we're okay naman. Kulang lang siguro sa projection.. kasi naman the audience, NR (no reaction ) .. mas maganda mag perform when the crowd is into it also I saw the performance from the stands.. dun sa may mga drums... layo nga pero.. k naman.

In fairness naman dun sa Assistant ng Letran. I think naman na, he meant well when he said sorry. And I think he didn't know about it until we confronted him. Siguro na-shock din siya dun sa ginawa ng player.
Anyway, buti na lang na suspended yung player na yun for 3 games.

Apparently, they are not that good in basketball anymore. Last year lang yun. Kinakarma na sila ngayon dahil sa kabastusan nila. And lack of sportsmanship.

Mabuti na lang at hindi si Khakiskrt ang hinipuan dahil kung nangyari yun, hindi lang CSB people magagalit, pati mga Beda boys eh makiki-bugbog para sa kanya dahil kay ....... hehehehehehehehehe!!! TAKSIL!!!
Leaving the NCAA won't be a good choice either. It's an isolated case naman as kayo would put it and CSB hopes to be part of a change in NCAA image and rulings. The change would be inside. If I had my way in the NCAA committee, Letran would be playing in CUSA or SCUAA na lang where they can keep touching other people's butts and rumbling other schools for all we care!!! Kinarma pa rin sila, that's what counts and the case is already appealed and vindicated. Double black-eye kumbaga.

Letran will always be the first to start the rumbles, cat calls etc. etc. Ganyan naman talaga ang mga Dugong Arriba, mga walang breeding. This all shows the quality of education of that school. Di naman kaya dahil puro kick-out at mga hindi pumapasa sa mga de-kalidad na pamantasan ang nag-aaral dito? They were only good last year because of Kerby Raymundo, who was playing under forged documents. Buti na lang hindi San Beda ang binastos nila. But nevertheless, I sympathize with CSB. Leaving the NCAA is not the solution. Reforming the athletes and schools is. Kick these ******** out of the league.
