parang hindi yata setter si Perez nung rookie year niya.

Jia was born to be a setter at setter ang posisyon nya since time immemorial.

Morado has talent, in the long run, I would go with her, rather than J. ferrer.

This season nagpakita na ng galing si Jia in her Rookie year kaya mas gagaling yan next season.

I think jia is showing why she received multiple best setter awards (including shakey's girls(2x) vleague and palarong pambansa etc) despite suffering an acl last year. I wonder lang kung fully recovered na sya from her injury.

Funny that a thread that intends to generate negativity turned out to be positive after all. I therefore conclude this attempt is an epic failure para sa TS. haha! Parang naging appreciation thread pa for Jia and syempre for Kim; who are definitely the best setters for this season so far.

Para kay Jia, achievement nya na siguro na sya ang primary setter ni Coach Tai, when she has more "veteran" setters-team mates in Faustino and G. Tan. Ibang trust and confidence yun tapos natulungan nya ang team na ma-maintain yung F4 achievement when almost everybody, including supporters thought they wont make it to the F4 this season because of obvious and inevitable circumstances. Yung maging 2nd best kay Kim is something as well.

Naisip ko lang, it won't take too long; babalik tayo sa thread na ito and we will just laugh about this. Syempre ganun pa rin, ma-aapreciate pa rin natin si Jia and Kim as well. That's life =)

I think jia is really a good setter, considering she's a rookie, for sure mas gagaling pa yan sa mga susunod na season.

19 excellent sets lang si Fajardo in today's game. Congratulations Jia Morado! Ang galing niyo TMX sports!

Nakakatawa lang talaga yung ibang tao dito. Remember yung season wherein Hiponia was leading all the time as #1 setter sa stats at madami ring nagrereklamo?

As for today's game, I AM NOT SURPRISED AT ALL.

19 lang in 4 sets? Kalokohan!

Twice lang pinalitan ni Mika si Kim. End of the first set and sometime during the third set. Plus, considering that Kim played all of the second set which reached up to 26-24 ang score, ang tagal niya nakababad sa court.

Kalokohan.

  13. #33
Even so you cannot take away the fact that coach ramil singled her out a lot of times during huddles which means that si coach na mismo ng dlsu ang nakakapansin na may something "off" sa setting ni kim kanina especially sa first 2 sets.

Anyways I don't want to argue further with you since you have your own belief na hinohokus pokus ng ateneo ang award na to para manalo si Jia? But for me she's a good setter, showed steady nerves & consistency on her 1st year despite having acl injury pre-season. I'd take her any day to replace Loren Lantin of UST or Ivy Perez of NU.

And most important thing is hindi namiss ng Ateneo ang pagkawala ni Ferrer, as the season progressed nakaalis na siya totally sa shadow ni Jem and she's now making a name for herself.

  17. #37
So does that mean she will get the award?

  18. #38
