tama si Speculator...I've been watching the UAAP since then too...and I can say that all those years of frustration led me to be humble also (as a fan)...at the same time, winning two championships (not me, the archers of course) only led me to want it more because winning two championship rings is not enough.."it is never enough, I tell you"...to cover up all those fruitless years...The pain of those bitter losses are still there (and will remain there)and that is why I'm very cautious abt the other teams who are very upset-minded (I don't take NU for granted)...
Even if we win 5-straight championships.. ten-straight..it doesn't matter, because championships are hard to come by and once you lose it, it will be very hard to recover and I know that there will come a time that the opposing teams will be the dominant ones..but, as long as the archers have the capacity to win, they have to really go for it ...I just want the archers to show "total dominance", if possible...no mercy! (not necessarily outscore, but "choke" them with your defense to the point that they're already pissing on the court) and showing "no conscience" whatsoever!...All I want for them is to strike fear in their opponents eyes...even if there are only 2 men left standing on the court, and yet they still believe that they could win the game...
(sorry kung perfectionist's point of view yung paningin ko... I'm just one of those fans "hardened" by those losses)
even if their up by a gazillion, I don't care...I just wish (and it's coming true) that they could show that same heart and hustle from tip-off to the last sound of the buzzer...(I'm not questioning their heart, but sometimes nagiging complacent sila, e.g. game versus NU and Adamson, although we won, I can't say I wasn't disappointed either).
