During the cold months of November, December and January, I always carry around a lip balm in my bag.

For the male users of lip moisturizers, a nice thread would be on the question "How do you apply lip balm when you need to in a public place?"

what i meant to ask was, do you casually apply it on while walking at the malls or while seated at a fastfood within the sight of many people? or do you seek a more private place where you could use it?

    sorry to butt in but...

sgrebs, minsan pag kami kami lang ng mga friends ko eh we dont mind applying it
yup as what terry said, its just a lip balm not a lipstick (matakot ka pag maynakita kang lalking nag aapply ng lipstick in public- baka either gay siya or freak hehehehe), there's really no big deal about men applying lip balm in public

pero pag ako lang or may iba kaming company eh, i do it in the bathroom

Ako, I find nothing wrong naman with applying my lip balm in public. If people think that I'm gay or whatever, that's their problem. I'm pretty much secure enough with my own sexuality so things like that don't really affect me. Ok lang yun, I wouldn't think ill of a big muscualr guy applying lip balm in the midst of a crowd of onlookers, I'd understand.

    I use lip balm.

Men's lips are no different from women's.

It's not a big deal if I use my lip balm in public. The hell they care!

It's not a girl thing... Ok?

Anywhere anytime I need to. It would be something to see a guy use a public restroom just to put on some SPF 10.

I use petroleum jelly before I sleep... And I also put a little on my lips before I go out... para hindi naman dry tingnan... Lotion/Moisturizer is to the body, as petroleum jelly/lip balm is to the lips... OK?

i do know a couple of guys who use lipbalm. nothing wrong with it. when its cold kasi the lips get dry and tend to crack and bleed, so it helps prevent it di ba? even my male boss uses it 'cause its so cold here.

when november sets in, that's the time my lips start getting dry and chapped. uncomfty pa ng feeling.

a guy friend told me to use chapstick or lip balm from the body shop. helped a lot.

simple and discreet way... nakaipit sa palm mo yung chapstick, with your ring finger, tapos your rub it all over your lips. para kang lang nagcocover ng lips mo. and besides, madungis ako maglagay ng chapstick... kaya it works for me.

there's nothing wrong with putting on chapstick in public, lalo na pag nasa kalye ka. basta wag lang yung tipong nakanguso ka tapos yung thumb and forefinger mo ang pinanghahawak mo.
