this has carried over to the current rule set using the 'stack'. Once an ability has been placed on the stack, destroying the source of the ability will not counter the ability because it's only on the stack and will resolve as soon as both players pass priority.

that is why Stifle(a new card) is so hot right now...

as you can see, a specific card was created to handle abilities and effects on the stack.


As for your stasis question:
Phasing occurs during the start of the untap step. Since Stasis states that players skip the untap phase, no phasing will occur while stasis is in play.

so let me get this straight, when i cast a taniwha or breezekeeper when stasis is in play, they don't untap but don't phase out either? why not make an instill energy/opposition deck then? and, with the krosan restorer, possibly, to untap up to three lands per tap, when in threshold?

--Phasing in and out does happen during the untap step, so with Stasis out, it won't phase back in or phase out.

Actually it's cheaper if you go to an online auction site like ebay. If you go to other online shops, it would be expensive. If you're lucky at bidding, you can get them at very low prices. Just takes patience and of course how much you are willing to pay for the cards you want.

Would you believe I got 4 Ice Age Deflection Cards for $3.00, 4 Revised Crusades for $6.00 and 4 Revised Swords to Plowshares for $5.00. And almost all of them were in mint/nr mint condition. Including shipping na to.

(I also got a whole bunch of other cards real cheap.)

I just feel pissed that I lost the 4 Ice Age Jester's cap at the last 10 seconds. Sayang. Ang mura pa naman nung winning bid at $7.00 hmph!

Uh, Underworld Dreams wasn't reprinted in Chronicles. Maybe it was a BB Italian Underworld Dreams which is still expensive. Glen is a good friend and he would never cheat anyone.

I need your opinion. We all know that if you want fast mana in today's environment you go Green. Well,how many turns will it take for a green deck to produce 7 mana at it's fastest? What type 2 cards will you need? Yung pre-eighth ed ha?

if you're fast enough, you can generate 10 mana by turn 3.
here's how:
assuming you choose to draw and not play...
First Turn:
Play Forest
Play Llanowar Elf
Turn Two:
Play Forest
Tap both forests, play 2 llanowar elves
tap 1st llanowar elf, play birchlore rangers
tap llanowar and birchlore, play 2nd birchlore ranger
tap remaining untapped elves, play 4th llanowar

Turn Three:
Play Forest
tap 3 llanowars, play elvish guidance on a forest
you have 6 elves in play, so that forest will give you 6 mana
plus the two untapped forests = 8 mana
plus the llanowar and two birchlores = 10 mana

dude, Underworld Dreams was never reprinted.
but it's gonna come out in 8th Ed.
so there is no Chronicles edition.

instill energy is too slow and too few to be useful in an opposition deck. you'll get better mileage with squirrels (squirrel nest and deranged hermit)

underworld dreams was never reprinted in chronicles.

i told that to you before you bought it that it was legends- and it is legends.

if you'd at least bother to search for the card in all websites which feature the "search for card" ability, like wotc.com, card kingdom, starcity, trollandtoad, etal- you'd see that it was only released in legends and on the upcoming expansion - 8th ed.

if you did that, you wouldn't have bothered to start the hostile reaction with guns ablazing.

in all my years of playing magic, i have not once (not once) ripped, cheated, stole - any card that is not mine or mislead/coerced anyone into buying, selling cards at a much higher/lower price than what is currently on the market.

i have been trading internationally and locally for so long, i can't even remember.

i've never even tried to cheat another person- if you'd look at bidshot.com or at http://7th.realm.com.ph/forum/index.php? where practically everyone knows my cell number, i haven't ripped anybody.

i write articles and have traded with over 50 people in the states alone, not to mention sending over 20 "free" autographed lands to different players- i am also one of the most respected t1 posters on wotc.com and would never risk my reputation (visit ALL t1 forums that are worth reading, i use the same name in all of them- starcity.com, http://boards1.wizards.com/index.php?, themanadrain.com just to gain a few bucks.

in fact i was offered a nm morphling for 250php a month ago, but i never bought it because i knew it had to be "stolen goods" - the guy obviously didn't know what it's worth- proof of this is on the 7threalms website, where you can search for it.

not to mention that i've been cheated/duped out of cards too many times to mention- proof of this is on wotc.com where you can search for this- i lost a mana drain to a mesmeric fiend sometime this year in glorietta- more proof can be gotten by mr. oscar tan, or rakso, a good friend and a prominent t1 writer- he urged me to go post this incident in dci phils but i refused, noting that the incident couldn't be reversed and that i'll just be careful next time.

also, you could check all my trades on "the marketplace" at wotc.com where i INSIST on sending first - kasi ninanakaw ang mga sulat dito sa pinas- to everybody i trade to- again proof of this can be seen on the website.

so you see, even if you still don't believe me and refuse to check whether or not it was reprinted in chronicles-

you should have- at least- bothered to have texted me (and you know my number) or pm, or emailed me -(which i gave you)- first- instead of pointing a gun and shooting blanks at me.

please remind me not to transact business with you again in the future. thank you.
