Which one do you think pays well, working in a call center or as MT?

call center pays higher than MT especially if you're not an experienced MT

I'm planning to undergo training for Medical Transcriptionist and i got some questions...

...what should i expect from this?

...mahirap ba?

...is there a good future for MTs?

Ive read on the newspaper that medical transcription is now the upcoming employement oppurtunity here in our country and abroad. But before you can be a med. transcriptionist you should be knowledgeable about his thing. I tried calling MTC Academy- the school whois offering this course and I will be attending their free career orientation on Sat.

Can anyone tell me something about this job.... :*

Where does those voice recorded came from? Abroad? Is it downloaded through the internet?

And how exactly those MT Companies earn?

i HAVE TRIED CALLING MTC Academy AND AS FAR AS IVE SCOUTED FOR THE BEST MED. TRANSCRIPTION SCHOOL. THEY OFFER THE MOST COMPREHENSIVE MT CURRICULUM AND OUTSTANDING OJT PROGRAM. I'LL BE ENROLLING IN THEIR DEC. SCHEDULE BEC. THEY HAVE THEIR XMAS PROMO THAT OFFERS SUPER CUT OUT TUITON FEES. AND THEIR SCHOOL IS NOW LOCATED AT BUENDIA MAKATI...MAS OKEY KC MALAPIT SA AYALA.

Ive tried calling several Medical Transcription Schools and have assesed that MTC Academy has the most comprehensive curriculum and they offer the best OJT program.

And I aslo lerned the reason why this job is really in demand. Because in the US every pateint- doctor encounter it is a LAW that it should always be properly documented.

At MTC Academy, 90% of their graduates all employed bec. they have an online application prograram. Whereas different MT companies may view the students profile even when their studying they have big chances of getting employed.

Yes, yes, and yes.

They are paid a fee for transcription work completed, based either on the number of characters, words, lines, pages, minutes, or hours. (Charges by line are the most common form.)

Yes there is....M currenly a student at MTC Academy... My school is here at Buendia near Glorietta. Actually, our school has the best mt curriculum and all students database is uplodad on line which means all the schools corp. partners can view my resume..So when an employed got interested I can be hired even while studying.

naka pag try mag apply ang cousin ko two weeks ago...kaso di nya pinatulan. y? sabi kasi sa kanya for 6 months daw ang training and she will be given P5,000 allowance monthly!

sa pamasahe nya at merienda eh kulang pa yan eh....tsk tsk tsk...

The gold standard for medical transcriptionists, The AAMT (Americal Association for Medical Transcription)Book of Style for Medical Transcription addresses points of grammar, punctuation, style, usage, editing, and much more....

bale eto yung sinusunod namin tungkol sa medical transcription pero yung iba, depende parin sa hospital or doctors....
