Tried them. Had tantan mien, bork ribs ramen and drunken man rice. So far so good. Have to eat there a few more times before i'd give an opinion

Just tried ramen daisho. Ang laki nga ng servings.

normally, a ramen priced at 180-250p would be a big serving.

avoid the fastfood and convenience store variety which are priced around 100-150p.

Finally tried this. Ok nga. Not the usual tantanmen. Theirs have pork cutlets. Tantanmen usually have just ground meat.

Tried the ramen at Ippudo last night, the broth is mild and tasty especially with the fresh garlic. One of the best in Manila, still debating if I like that better than Butao Ramen. The flavors are different.

You should go all the way to alabang to find the best ramen. I still have to find anything better than yushoken.

    Ay, 'day!!!

Worth it! Try venturing to alabang kahit once lang, just to try yushoken.

Agree. Here in the Philippines Yushoken has the best ramen. The soup is thicker than usual. Ramen Nagi is also good IMO.

I tried Ippudo in Osaka but I haven't tried the branch in megamall. Went there last Saturday and the line was CRAZY. That's around 50-70 people in the queue.

The best one I tried in Japan was Ichiran. There are many branches there (tried the Kyoto branch 2x.) When a friend is going there I ask them to buy me some instant Ramen from Ichiran. It ain't as good as the ramen restaurant version but it beats your everyday Lucky Me Itnok for sure.

    Not my picture, btw.

Ramen Nagi.. You must try Butao King and Red Ramen.. You may also customize your ramen the way you like it served..

Same guy who owns Elbert's Steakhouse.

I don't have any way to verify this but a friend of a friend claims Yushoken will open their next branch in Makati.

^ Ohh the Cuenca guy. How'd he make it so good and authentic compared to the Japanese brands/chef's ramen places in the Metro?

Hmm good if they do open a branch in Makati. Much more convenient for me as I don't venture to Alabang.

Talaga? I thought a japanese guy owns it. They dont allow take outs to ensure the quality of their ramen. They wqnt you to experience the ramen the way it was meant to be served.

Buti naman mag open na sila sa makati. Medyo haesle din qng travel to alabang for rqmen.

Kailangan rin agahan pagpunta kasi madalas maraming naka-queue, lalo na pag bandang 'mag-3:30-5:00pm na.

Miraku ramen yung fave ko dun.

Looks like my friend was correct. Mendokoro Ramenba is the same as Yushoken and will open next week in Salcedo.
