-good to see XU on the map again after so many years, though consistent naman na mataas ang passing rate nila.

Hindi naman, I actually asked one Board of Accountancy member what happened: Here's our FB chat -

(Me) "Hi Sir, bakit po 27% na lang passing percentage ng CPA board exam? pababa po ba talaga ang trend, quality of examinee, or quality of examination?"

(BOA member): "Mababa talaga ang scores nila."

    That's his short reply.

Interesting. Sa reviewee talaga ang problem.

siguro naging too complacent lang din kami dahil nakita namin yung trend ng board exam lately na laging 45-49% lagi ang passing percentage nationally. haha! maybe we should put it in our minds na wala sa quality/difficulty ng board exam ang pagpasa, nasa preparation talaga ng mga examinees.

While it is true na mababa ang passing percentage. Napakataas naman ng grades ng mga topnotchers.

Hi Sir Larry, is it true na may adjustments talagang ginagawa sa mga grades?

Officially, wala.

  20. #19
^ It's more interesting to ask kung bakit me defective question/s pa din na nakakalusot.
