the whole noli me tangere is just depressing reading it with a more mature mind. napa ka shocking kung gaano karami ang totoo parin hanggang ngayon mahigit 100 years na nakakaraan. when i read this part tinamaan ako since i was that same youth not so many years ago and more depressing, it is still the same for most. i do my best to influence the youths in my family to think differently pero may mga pinsan ring lalake na mahilig mangimpluwensya rin ng ganitong pag iisip. recently my 15 year old nephew was offerred a drink and bar girl by one of his uncles (my cousin), he refused because he said he loves his gf. parang korni pero natuwa ako. there is hope.
