    LeBron is a one-incredible player. Unstoppable. Very rare. But i never liked a 2-TIME MVP leaving his team. Jordan didn't leave and join another team. Kobe does not have a plan. FOREVER LOSER tingin ko sa ganyan. Me magagawa ba kayo sa gusto ko?

    If ever lumipat yan sa Lakers, di na ako magiging Laker Fan. At kung mainjured yan, it would be the happiest day of my life. Magpapa-PIZZA ako!

    It is really fun playing with keyboard basketball players.... Hahahahahahahahahaha!!!
    Kobe demanded a trade in 2007
    Dwight Howard signed an extension and then demanded a trade.

    LeBron at least played his entire contract. It's not his fault that Cleveland management couldnt surround him with superstar players like prime shaq or prime gasol via lopsided trades.

    But of course you're going to ignore that, "forever loser" padin si lebron

    Ano gagawin mo pag si kobe ang na aCL? Papaputol ng kamay

    Fantards.

    Lebron didn't choke. Kobe just owned him and embarrassed him with his defense in the 4th quarter of the 2013 ASG!

    Yung may angal dun, wag na isama yung mga nangyare sa regular season games or mangyayari kung regular season game yun, or playoffs, or finals.

    This is a thread for 2013 All Star Weekend. Dun kayo sa Lakers or Miami regular season thread.

    Naglabasan lang yang mga yan nung nakablock si Kobe kay Lebron, nung isang linggo tago sa mga saya ng nanay nila yang mga yan!

    Kobe is great and the closest to MJ right now no doubt about that, hes got 5 rings yeah and MJ takes him over LBJ because 5>1 true, well MJ won his 1st when he was what? 28? Lebron is just 28 right now so I dont know!

    Ring===>> Great Team
    MVP===>> Great Player

    Last time I check 3>1

    And it'l be 4 soon with the Lakers not making it to the playoffs as the icing on the cake!

    si duncan naman naka 4 then parang echepwera pa rin sya kasi si the one pa rin ang mas magaling?

    btw out pa si lebron dito magaling sya but still a long way to go...

    but for kobe??? oh my! he's soooo overrated!!!!!

    nganga kaya sya nung umalis si shaq... tapos champion pa sa miami... swerte lang sya matanda na si shaq noon kung pareho lang silang nasa prime ni shaq malamang sya itapon ng lakers

    2013 Houston All-Star Weekend Recap

    In the midst of union problems with union Chief Billy Hunter (he was fired over the weekend), struggling teams failing to find their step, and injuries plaguing some of the league’s best stars, the All-Star Weekend was a welcome respite. Our favorite stars’ normally serious or even scowling faces (Kobe) were instead showing wide smiles, and the weekend gave several reasons why.

    Day 1

    The entertainment began with the All-Star Celebrity game, with Celebrity squad coaches Russell Westbrook and James Harden catching a lot of attention due to suspect wardrobe decision making. Such fashion choices have never been seen before, setting the hilarity bar pretty high.

    Actor Kevin Hart topped that bar. One of the highlights of this match was when Hart challenged Usain Bolt (yes, that Bolt) to a foot race to see who could dribble to one end, get a layup, and back for another layup the fastest. As the countdown started, Hart off course started hilariously early and won the race but not before Bolt wowed the crowd with a dunk. It should also be noted that Hart traveled to infinity and beyond to win. With the MVP being voted on by the fans, Kevin Hart won the popular vote getting the award for the 2nd consecutive year, despite scoring only 5 points. Other stars that participated were Ne-Yo, Nick Cannon, and Common among others.

    Then we got some real hoops action with the BBVA Rising Stars Challenge. Shaq and Sir Charles went head to head with their chosen rookies and sophomores from the league and it was a shooting extravaganza from start to finish. Threes and dunks poured in from every corner of the court, making it seem like a prequel to the 3 point Shootout and Slam Dunk Contest. Defense was a myth however, with team Chuck only having slightly heard of it. Since good D wins games, Kenneth Faried and Co. from team Chuck took a double digit lead early.

    There were good plays and solid offensive performances all around from young guns like Isaiah Thomas, Dion Waiters, Kawhi Leonard, Damian Lillard and Kyrie Irving. Irving was easily Shaq’s best player, scoring 32 points and earning the top play of the contest, embarrassing Detroit guard Brandon Knight with a killer anklebreaker. The real standout however, was Kenneth Faried from team Chuck who couldn’t shut his motor even if he wanted. With an imposing post presence, tight D, and amazing dunks, Faried displayed intensity in all fronts garnering 40 points, 10 rebounds and the MVP trophy. He also led Barkley’s team to a whopping 163-135 win over Team Shaq.

    Day 2

    All-Star Saturday promised more excitement with the Shooting Stars Competition, Skills Challenge, 3 Point Shootout and Slam Dunk Contest. Too bad that promise was not entirely fulfilled. The Shooting Stars challenge did have a few legends like Dominique Wilkins and Robert Horry competing, but hitting a few shots from around the floor without anything real at stake just doesn’t seem that exciting. Team Chris Bosh with Wilkins and Swin Cash of the Chicago Sky won this bit, with Wilkins hitting the long bomb from halfcourt. As an appetizer however, we can live with this.

    But the Skills Challenge? This could use a revamp. A few stars like Damian Lillard and Jrue Holiday made an effort to go around doing amateur drills as fast as they could. Three time NBA Champ Tony Parker though, looked like he couldn’t be bothered, missing passes and way too many shots. If the stars aren’t interested, how can we be? Damian Lillard could use the award as a rookie, and went on to win it.

    The Three Point Shootout brought some life into the Toyota Center, with the “Red Mamba” Matt Bonner (Kobe came up with it)surprising everyone. Thanks to some social media skills, Bonner got a lot of attention with #LetBonnerShoot and the league decided to put him in the contest. Good thing they did as his 19 points in the first round electrified, and was enough to catapult him to the final round. Kyrie Irving however, was a little better. Despite getting only 18 earlier, Irving got blazing hot and scored 23 to beat out Bonner’s 20 in the last round, getting him the trophy and huge cheers from the crowd.

    The night suddenly went on a nose dive however, with the dunk contest. Former champ Gerald Green, and college high flyer James White were expected to put on a show for the ages. Instead, they caved in to their nerves and missed difficult attempt after difficult attempt, killing the atmosphere. The night was salvaged when former dunk champ Jeremy Evans, and rookie Terrence Ross moved on to the finals where they put on a show. Despite Evans’ best efforts, dunking over a painting of himself and getting major air time with his next attempt, it was Ross with his best Jason Richardson impersonation who won. Ross jumped over a ball boy and went all East Bay Funk on the rim to grab the trophy.

    Day 3

    All-Star Sunday was definitely the highlight of the weekend, with Ne-Yo putting on a show to introduce the players in the East and West squads. The military inspired All-Star jackets worn by our favorite players were quite awesome. Each jacket displayed the accomplishments of each player on their left chest. Kobe looked like a general for obvious reasons.

    Kyrie Irving looked like he wanted a repeat of his Friday performance, blowing past several defenders with his killer handles. Chris Paul wouldn’t take this lying down. He put on a dribbling clinic of his own and went at Irving (among others) with his entire skill set. It looked like the And 1 Mix Tape tour at one point. Even Kobe displayed he can still crossover with the best of them.

    LeBron went up for several slams during the night, each time almost hitting his head on the rim. It’s quite mind boggling why he refuses to join the dunk contest. Kevin Durant also displayed mad hops, getting one of the biggest dunks of the contest. Tyson Chandler and of course, Blake Griffin blew up the stadium with their own explosive jams.

    The West led early in the game, and the East looked like they were in deep trouble; but LeBron and Wade picked up on offense in the 2nd Half, hitting difficult shots to make it a close match. Joakim Noah also gave the West problems with his defensive presence, making commentators wonder amusingly if blocking were allowed in the All-Star game. But Noah wasn’t the only defensive presence, as Kobe got one of the highlights of the match, blocking LeBron James not just once, but twice.

    In the end, the West proved too much for the East. While it was Kevin Durant who scored the most points for the Western squad, it was Chris Paul’s quickness and pin point passing that led to him getting the MVP. Paul blew by quite a number of defenders to rack up 20 points, and his laser like passing accuracy led to 15 assists. Paul was a true court general that night, and the West benefited by getting the 143-138 win.
