i know ross/marshalls/tjmaxx/valuecity sells irregular clothing, i said that.

i was talking about that store called "surplus" in the malls here in the philippines. it's pretty much the same thing besides the kitchen things, old snacks(do not buy anything "edible" in those stores), and furniture.

i hear they may build an ikea here.

ikea? good, so long they import wooden made products to sell.

truth is, I want wooden products to come from outside.

Other countries have tree farms, we dont. once we cut those trees, they're good as gone, the forests, I mean.

It may kill the local handicraft and furniture industry, but people can turn to employees of these stores if they open, thus making up for the jobs lost.

    I havent heard of Saver.

Ross does not sell 2nd hand. Looking at the soles of the shoes, I doubt it.

Factory defects, maybe, but I always look at the bags I buy, wala rin.

Perfumes din. Most especially hindi, they're tight seal.

For some reason TJ Maxx's and Marshall's items look a lot better.

Burlington is most of a mix, but they specialize in nice coats and winter clothes.

Mga call centers. Pero ngayon presidente na uli si Obama, ibabalik na uli sa US yang mga call center jobs sa ibang bansa

Companies are finding ways to reduce the costs of outsourcing,

before laging voice agent ang kausap ko, ngayon most of the time,

delegated na ang services sa computer prompts.

pag talagang service na lang like restoring connection or may problem sa service, change of address, mga ganun na lang ang sa voice.

billing, scheduling of payment, voice prompts na.

I dont think theyre saving just quite a few bucks,

    even by just the min wage, $8 x 40 hrs/wk= $320 x P40 x 4 weeks=

P52,000 compared to P16,000 in Pinas.

this excludes pa the utilities and office rent.

    so malaki natitipid nila,

which is why the improving P=$ rate would mean danger to the BPO industry in the Philippines.

For technical support? I don't think may mga kano na interesado diyan na 8 hrs shift. Mahal bayad sa mga tech support.

Magkano lang ba bayad per day sa mga CCCs. 800 a day or $20/day? Isang oras lang sa US yan.
