    Too Much

TNT is just too strong, too smart, too good for Rain or Shine. It would've been a closer series had Alaska or San Mig Coffee advanced to the final.

TNT ruined the outside game of Jeff Chan and the athleticism of Gabe Norwood. TNT's big men also tenderized the beefy frontline of Beau Belga and JR Quinahan.

With TNT's performance earlier, it was already like watching the Philippine national team. Defense indeed wins championships.

Sir JPM, IIRC the Maestro Baby Dalupan won with
Purefoods in 1990 (1st of the Ayala franchise). So that would make Dalupan in the elite three-decade club winners.

As for TnT, I don't like this team, especially their
hakot crowd, but I have to give credit to them.
Magaling talaga sila from the management,to the coaches,to the players and their system.

Paki correct na lang kung may mali ha, this is how they fared in the AFC series.
    2011 TnT 4 - 3 vs SBM/PBB
    2012 TnT 4 - 1 vs POW
    2013 TnT 4 - 0 vs RoS

Not only did they beat their opponents, but as they progressed, winning became easier.

    Congrats TnT.

Sana kami naman next conference. Ginuman Na!

Yes, Drei, you're correct. My bad, I mistook Baby Dalupan's Purefoods' run happening in 1989 when that was SMB's grandslam season. Thanks for bringing that up...

This TNT team's final pieces came in 2010 when Sta. Lucia folded up and they were able to acquire Kelly Williams and Ryan Reyes. That was the final potent mix that made them elite. Before their arrival, they were above average, but had to rely on an erratic Mark Cardona to be one of their leaders. Because of these two players' arrival, Cardona was released and Chot Reyes didn't have one single player that you'll worry about. The kind of player that experts would describe as "you take the good with the bad." Not one TNT player is like that - which makes them so formidable.

IMO, TNT is a better defensive unit now than they were under Chot. It's tough to beat a team that potent on both ends of the floor.

It also goes to show that a complete and healthy TNT team is still far superior than the rest of the league.

wawa naman ang ROS hindi nakaporma. quality of players talaga matters. kahit sinong coach ang ilagay sa TNT they would still win.

I want Lawrence Chongson to coach TNT and see what happens.

offence is still the best defense.

and TnT has plenty of that.
