Can we stop with the shipping for a while. Ang tagal ko nang nag-lulurk dito puro MiGi or JaoMik lang nababasa ko. Ano berrr.

Rants:
1. Why has no one ever addressed the lack of a language barrier? Nakakainis. IRL sa tingin niyo ba in a span of a few months (kahit na 1 or 2 years) magiging fluent sa Dzongkha sina Mikay and Gino o sa Filipino si Jao?

2. I hate what they've done to Behati's character. It started when she pretended to be dead and culminated with last night's episode with her scene with Anand where they portrayed her as crazy. That one scene ruined her whole character. She could've been someone who was justified in taking over (taking back) Yangdon. Instead of having a sensible conversation with Anand (if not sensible then at least a decent one) about the histories of their fathers and their forefathers, the writers had her torturing Anand and laughing like a maniac. She was stripped of whatever humanity she had left. The murder of other people and the manipulation of her son can be justified in an end-justifies-the-means way but that scene that happened behind closed doors showed her "true colors." It cemented her role as a villain. The series was no longer about people fighting over power and the right to rule (somehow it never felt like it was) but the typical fight of Good vs Evil.

Towards the end the show focused so much on Mikay "getting over" Jao but even then it didn't feel like she changed at all (aside from her feelings for Gino and Jao). Jao and Gino were the only characters that showed some personal conflict and growth but even that didn't feel believable. I'll reserve my feelings about Jao at the moment because from tonight's episode it seems that his true intentions aren't clear. Gino, on the other hand, is so obsessed with Mikay. I don't doubt his love or his devotion but seriously, I don't think it's healthy to have your whole world revolve around someone. He could gone to the States and come back (never nang natuloy, ano ba naman). I think that would've strengthened their relationship. Some space is actually healthy!

The series had so much promise. It could've created a colorful world of Yangdon with flawed but ultimately multidimensional characters. Instead, we have mary-sues and caricatures. And shipping, nothing but shipping. Sawang-sawa na ako sa landian mo kay Jao man yan o kay Gino. Nakakainis. 'Yun lang po. I'll show myself out.

Who else is annoyed at how quickly Priam died? They built Christian's character so much that he was indestructible kinda like WCW/WWE's Goldberg and Ryback but he gets killed off on Monday... just like that? WTH?

Gino lives? I was surprised he got a few good shots at Shivaji and that other Silangan guard... Ehhh who cares... finally Mikay can stand on her own feet and I see the fire in her eyes... Jao's fed up with his mother... miscommunication on both sides... this will get ugly... will King Anand live?

4 days left mga Kapamilya!

I am sincerely hoping against hope that the "I" is Jao.... Jao and Areeyah to unite the Yangdon. It makes perfect sense! I am watching it not
just for the love of Jao n Areeyah but because Jao is perfect to be the king. His character, his beliefs, n courage is truly remarkable unlike Gino who is shallow, spoiled rotten brat, that who only matters to him is Mikay, Mikay n Mikay, nothing else. I really hope that they will give justice to our prince. Storywise, it should be Jao and Mikay. Nakakasawa din yung corny kilig and overrated immature pa-cute moments nila Gino and Mikay. I dont't have anything against DJ and Kathryn pero I'm over the pa-cute stage. I am looking for a realistic and justifiable ending for our prince

what gives? when adversity strikes both Jao and Areeyah "never gave up" on each other,even though distance and circumstances have tried to separate them. when a GIRL who has SO MUCH WISDOM and HEART such as mikay/areeyah loves it will be hard not to KNOW where her heart leads towards someone who makes her smile, laugh, assures, comforts, loves patiently - not someone who use "force" "emotional blackmail" gets angry, eyes that speaks selfishness -- it will be dysfunctional and inconsistent for a character so FULL of GOOD moral values and wisdom to HEAD south IT IS VERY hard to love someone who loves themselves first IF YOU are a person WHO GIVES SO MUCH of yourself it will be like suicide a death of a loving SOUL...

ABS CBN P&I please GIVE Mikay/Areeyah the fortitude to keep going and move forward - even unclear/uncertain WE your viewers and I speak for the MASA who doesn't have the means to tweet or social network or text FOR MIKAY/AREEYAH's character TO BE a TRUE GOOD leader all throughout the Princess and I story WITH full heart AND wholehearted WISDOM to FIGHT FOR her LOVE to Jao and strive to UNITE kingdom divided NOT TO BE inconsistent - YOUR REAL VIEWERS deserves a Jao Areeyah/Mikay ending full of GOODNESS and MORAL VALUES that PURE LOVE can bridge divided kingdoms and CAN SURVIVE trials and hardships. BRING BACK GOOD OLD VALUES!!

YOU ALWAYS EMPHASIZE "KAPAMILYA" stop playing with people's hearts Kathryn deserves to be respected for her talent and so does the writers -- STOP VACILLATING! The other actor already have projects with Kathryn that doesn't MEAN he gets ALL her projects too just because they are a love team -- FOR their fans this is right but what about OTHER viewers - Princess and I viewers who doesn't do social networking NOR have the means/money to text OR people from all over the world who have loved and stayed watching the show for love of story even with busy lives? JUST like Mikay/Areeyah we are confident you will SHOW LIGHT in all of these "controversies" going around (bullying, pandering, irrationality, etc.). God bless Kapamilya - STAY TRUE to your viewers and you GAIN TRUE and loyal viewers! breed NOT FRUSTRATIONS but SATISFIED and GRATEFUL viewers!!

Hello everyone! Bago ako sa thread na to, pero kaya lang ako nagcomment kasi di ko mapigilan haha, na feel ko si Jao e good intentions parin. Feel ko magiging parang si Snape sya sa Harry POtter (para sa mga HP fans na nakakarelate). Kunwari lang yang pageevil evil nya, yung confrontation nya with Gino ginawa lang nya para hindi makita nung mga nakakulong na kampi siya sa mga taga Kanluran (baka nga naman maghinala *** mga guards ng silangan). Diba sabi nya sa abangan e, gusto nya ikakasal "raw" sila ni prinsesa Areeyah, feel ko e plot lang nya yun para pag nagpakasal na sila, e mauunite na *** silangan at kanluran. =)

Basta feel ko act lang ni Jao yan. Wag tayo mawalan ng pagasa :P

sa umpisa lang naman nila try na iaddress yang language barrier, but they sad to say they were not able to sustain it...

about la greta, nagtaka nga ako bat siya pumayag na ganun ang role nia.. well anyways... nde ko din actually feel yung "jail scene" nila ni anand... tho ang galing ni albert dun parang ang awkward lang or may mali sa blocking or nde lang talaga bagay kay la greta ang magbaliwbaliwan
