Think they've just crossed the line. They made the man so consumed with anger, But now they've just taken away his heart. Foul. But I must admit it was a compelling scene, jao dominating it. His cracked voice just did the trick! Haha. So They made jao the heartless villain inevitably making Gino a better choice, e. should this logic be valid, i would find it really insulting as a viewer. A migi ending is fine, and I can see they're desperately trying to redeem Gino's character but guess what, not convincing, too short a time to effect a change of view or impression. And look what happened to mikay's character. It was all over mikay's face when she hugged gino as if saying she made the right choice. They should have made it clear weeks ago who mikay really loves. And not after jao's outrage. Now all I am seeing is love borne out of convenience kasi pwde at tadhana na ang humusga! Gawd.

Jao's complete transition to the dark side has been predicted multiple times here so it did not really come off as a surprise for me. His total antagony spells the fulfillment of Behati and Priam's plans right from the Gulag ambush scene, the fake death, up to the continuous brainwashing. The triggers. The long struggle was to highlight Jao's moral fortitude, that it would take a hell lot to destroy his hopes and dominate his heart with anger. I personally think that redeeming him too early will be detrimental to the east-versus-west arc.

You seem to be understretching the development and limiting its scope in the context of the love story subplot. To make Gino the better choice, you say? Spoken like you have an uncontested claim that Jao had been more accepted, from a viewer/story perspective, until recently for Mikay. I've gone too tired arguing about redemption and if the character has not convinced you enough, sige sa iyo na lang yan. Sa inyo na lang yan. Hindi ko na iko-contest. I'm already sold with the fact na mas maraming tanggap ang pagbabago ni Gino.

I have this really strong intuition that they'll be redeeming Jao's character the MOST, do hold on to that thought. I don't mind jao being an antagonist, but look at him, he's turned out to be a monster. Someone who's been to hell and back. With all honesty, even if he did come back to his old self, if i knew someone like him, I wouldn't want to ever come near him. I don't know, I think jao has come too far down. And to expect a convincing sort of redemption with barely more than a week time. And gino still at the "process" of developing his character. And mikay just sort of started taking back control of her life. And we're left with 7 episodes to go. Ending is everything and That's where my frustration comes in. And I'm talking here as a regular viewer.

DAHIL sa basketball final game na I, parte ng promo ng Princess and I napasok namin for the first time ang Mall of Asia Arena.
Napakalaki ng lugar pero punumpuno ito sa sobrang dami ng mga nanood kina Enrique Gil at Daniel Padilla.

Ibang-iba talaga ang ABS-CBN. Pinag-aralan nila nang husto ang lahat ng diskarte para sa show nila at pati na rin sa mga bidang alagang artista. Narinig naming usap-usapan ng mga nakasabay naming hukbo ng mga tagahaga na ibang-iba raw talaga ang Dos pagdating sa pagpapasikat ng mga alagang artista.
Napakagandang pakulo ang ginanap na basektball series ng Team Gino at Team Jao, lalo nitong pinalakas ang programang Princess and I na nasa huling tatlong linggo na at hanggang ngayon ay nangunguna pa rin sa ratings game.
“Ang `Princess and I Royal Fair: Final Game’ ay bahagi ng engrandeng selebrasyon sa tagumpay ng Kapamilya royal teleserye,“ sey ng PR ng programa na si Sir Aaron Domingo.
Para lalong maging exciting ang laro ay kumuha pa sila ng guest players tulad nina Jeric Fortuna ng UST at Jeron Teng ng De La Salle University. Pero sa totoo lang, at hindi naman siguro itatanggi ni Enrique Gil, na sa loob ng Arena ay ramdam ng lahat na higit na mas maraming fans si Daniel Padilla kaysa sa kanya.
For sure, sa tanong sa amin ng isang tagahanga kung kanino mapupunta si Katrhyn Bernardo sa ending ng serye, tiyak puputaktihin ng katakut-takot na reklamo ang Dos kung kay Enrique Gil mapupunta si Mikay.
Suportado ng mga bossing ng Dos ang naturang basketball game. Present sa Arena sina Ms. Malou Santos, Laurenti Dyogi, Linggit Tan, and Rory Quintos. Siyempre, nandoon ang lahat ng cast ng The Princess And I sa pangunguna nina Gretchen Barretto (kasama ang anak na si Dominique at ang mga pamangking sina Julia Barretto, atbp.) at Albert Martinez. Nandoon din sina Melai Cantiveros, Matteo Guidicelli, Robi Domingo, Karen Timbol, Janice de Belen, at ang ama ni Daniel na si Rommel Padilla.
Nakalulungkot lang na natuldukan ng minor accident kay Daniel ang masayang laro. Kinailangang tahiin ang bahagi ng kanyang lower lip na tinamaan ng siko ni Bobby Ray Parks na agad-agad namang humingi ng apology. Pero hindi naman talaga sinasadya ang pagkakasiko.

First congratulation sa Team Gino last Game 3... Aww Daniel di makapagsalita ngayon at maga padin bibig..baka nga lumayo muna tong character ni Gino ilang araw at MIA..baka babalik na nga siya sa kalagitnaan ng war arc..

So yun pala ang trigger ni Jao..si Mikay nanaman..nag full blown na nga talaga si Anakin at naging Dark Vader..pero it was expected hindi ba? matagal na natin napaguusapan yan dito..one possible route and a big possible route at that ito.. (I mean i consider natin ang mga factors..mga pinagdaanang sakit ni Jao..plus yung characteristics niya pa noon nah na discuss na natin sa thread 1..yung expression niya noon pag nagagalit..etc..) nasa war arc na tayo..sorry mga JMs brader..MG na talaga ata to..aside from the hulk, ginawa nading gollum si Jao eh..no offence meant..si My preciouuuss lang talaga na remember ko nung dinuduro duro ni Jao sina Mikay at Gino nevertheless ang galing naman..convincing ang galit... Di ko na i tatackle pananaw ng JMs na d pa talaga hinog char ni Gino..at pilit lang kung MG ito..

I understand you guys..kasi kung nagkataon na JM ito..same lang tayo ng ilalament..pilit lang din kung JM ito..kahit na di nag full blown si Anakin-Jao into Dark Vader..each his own..

Ayoko nang mag predict what will happen..personally feel ko di pa tapos ang LT subplot well sa side lang ni Gino dahil di siya convince, di niya maramdaman. Obviously most of the JMs ganun din ang pananaw..and may mangilan ngilan ding MGs nah naniniwala na di pa talaga si Gino ang ultimate choice. Well feel ko naman meron pang ultimate moment itong tatlong to..itong plot na ito..hopefully pag naka latag na lahat ng braha. Yung wala nang issue. Post war baga. So kapit lang. Slim ang hopia ng JM pero anjan padin..naks..

Interesado ako sa war arc na talaga..parang di natin makikita ang war per se..sa loob lang ata ng palasyo ang makikita natin..Sure na ako sa redemption ni Jao..Sure nadin ako sa pag unite ng Silangan at kanluran..ang di lang ako sure is pano mangyayari ang mga yan..

Sinong possible mamatay aside sa JaoMiGi (again wala naman sana)? Behati, Priam, Anand...? may factor siguro sa death na ito ang unity ng Yangdon..so sino tingin niyo? Or need ba talagang meron? questions..questions..

@ ermi, feeling ko walang mamamatay sa JaoMiGi... as per my prev post, death of anand &/or behati will end the conflict, esp behati as repayment for her evil deeds & mukhang wala nang redemption ang character niya, hanggat buhay siya, gagawa at gagawa siya ng gulo. si anand naman masyadong strict & mukhang may galit din talaga sa kabilang kampo. si priam or shivaji naman oks lang na mamatay & nde makakaapekto sa plot, hehe
