Tear Gas Attack in Ateneo Clasroom?

Any truth to the INQUIRER Lifestyle item that someone lobbed tear gas inside a classroom?

a friend of mine had a class in the third floor bldg (i am not sure whethre it is kostka or berchmans) at the time the incident occurred and they were asked to leave raw the area. as for the motive behind the tear gas attack, i am not really sure whether what the inquirer article states is true.

A tear gas has been made in the Ateneo.

A lowly student made the attack after becoming deranged from too much studying. The student's ideals and actions, characteristic of the Ateneo student, really emphasizes the quality of education in Ateneo.

Disgusted students were heard saying "Sana na La Salle na lang ako"...but of course they were not accepted.

It happened Tuesday morning in the Kostka AVR. I heard that the student supposedly didn't want to take a test so he/she lobbed the tear gas so the class would be cancelled. Well, it worked.

The whole building was evacuated but no one was hurt. Buti naman. Ü

that's a very lame action of not wanting to take the exams... hindi ba alam ng student na 'yun on what harm he could've done? buti na lang if ever this really happened hindi siya makakasuhan. this could be a criminal offense unless the school board forgets about it.

and about the inquirer, hopefully they had correspondents to really clarify on the incident or else they're giving out false information. what date was this published in the inquirer?

yup. i think they were able to identify the three students who did it. i had a class that time when it happened and ang sakit sa throat pala nun. ang masasabi ko lang sana maexpell yung mga ****** yun. wala silang utak.

i know who did it. a freshman trying to settle a score with a senior. so whoever you are, be careful in roaming around the campus. you might find yourself in trouble.

hind ko alam kung matutuwa ka, pero sobrang dami kong kilalang atenista na nagsasabi na sana naglasalle na lang sila. hindi naman sa pagmamayabang or anything, pero mas mahirap lang yung load ng atenista, mas masaya raw sa lasalle.

I don't really know if there's any truth in that Ateneo has "more load" than La Salle, or that the latter is more "fun" than Ateneo. Fact is, they're both just as hard and as fun. We have more "load", but La Salle has three semesters to put up with, and that means tighter schedules per semester. Fun? I don't even know how to begin with that. I wonder why people even come up with these comments in the first place. Sheesh!

Please, can we put these rivalry-put downs aside? There are other threads for that.

Zimdude, hopefully there aren't any.
