    Gay Lord

The gun-toting father just couldn't accept the reality that his son is really gay and is only masquerading as a bully.

The bully got what he deserved - a punch that is. And it's always a bitter pill to swallow if you get a dose of your own medicine. And contrary to popular belief, most bullies aren't really astig as they seem but are actually cry babies.

Moral of the story is don't be a bully. After all, bullies aren't the most threatening people in this world. In fact, nerds and loners are more dangerous than these so-called bullies.

DepEd probing gun-pointing incident inside Makati school

MANILA, Philippines (UPDATED) – The Department of Education (DepEd) has launched its own investigation into the alleged gun-pointing incident inside the campus of Colegio San Agustin in Makati involving a parent and a student.

DepEd Assistant Secretary Tonisito Umali said the ongoing DepEd investigation into the gun-pointing incident may be the reason why the exclusive school in Dasmariñas Village has yet to issue a statement.

"Ang pagkakatindi ko iyan po ay tinututukan na ng ating SDS (schools division superintendent) ng Makati. Kaya siguro iyan ang dahilan kung bakit hindi na kumikibo," Umali told radio dzMM anchor Korina Sanchez.

Umali was not able to give the possible actions that the DepEd might take after the investigation. However, he cited pertinent laws and DepEd orders on child abuse.

Sony Lopez-Gonzales, in an interview with Sanchez on Wednesday, accused a parent of one of the students of pointing a gun on the forehead of her grandson.

Gonzales said the gun-pointing incident on August 30 started after her grandson punched the other student.

She said her grandson only punched the student after reaching his limits due to the latter's alleged bullying. The grandson had accused the student of poking the sensitive parts of his body for weeks.

After learning of the brawl, the student's father allegedly rushed to the school with a bodyguard, uttered insulting words, and then pointed his gun at Gonzales' grandson.

The gun-pointing incident was allegedly witnessed by several faculty members, identified in a police report as Mrs. Alicante, Ms. Jenny, Father Masana, Mr. Ignacio, and Ms. Cadangan.

The police report also quoted the father as saying: "You shouldn't go to a school, you're crazy. You should be in a mental institution…Do you want to fight me?"

Gonzales lamented that the two students accused of bullying were not suspended despite the allegations. Her grandson, on the other hand, got suspended.

Umali, meanwhile, clarified that the incident is not entirely the concern of the DepEd since one of the parties involved is a parent.

Umali said it is a school's responsibility to prevent any lethal weapon from entering its campus.

The school administration has yet to respond to requests for interviews by dzMM. Sanchez also asked the father who allegedly pointed the gun to air his side by calling radio dzMM.

As of posting, he had not done so.

Baka naman taga DepEd or any government agency related to education itong Allan Bantiles na 'to kaya ganun na lang ang takot ng CSA faculty and admin? I mean he must be a really powerful guy to scare the administration of a influential exclusive school? The fact that a minor was physically abused by an adult dapat may warrant of arrest na yan. I think the barangay of CSA (Barangay Forbes?) is dilly-dallying with the case. Pag fino-llow-up yan malamang puro "inimbitahan na po namin ang suspect" or "hindi namin makontak ang suspect" ang mga idadahilan ng mga yan.

The kind of people who can say such heartless things as the one above, is the same type of person who could point a gun at a boy and threaten his life just because of a school petty fight.

It's been weeks and there is no warrant yet. The funny part was that CSA faculty (namely: Mrs. Alicante, Ms. Jenny, Father Masana, Mr. Ignacio, and Ms. Cadangan) didn't do anything to break up the fight nor shield the child from a parent (an adult) holding a gun. There are no statements given which should be reflected in local news. They'd prefer to run around in circles to make this event go away rather than protect the child whose forehead could have a hole. A number of CSA Alumni are outraged in FB because the school they once respected is now lost.

In the long term, folks who'll remember this event when nothing has been done will even think twice before sending their kids to this school simply because educators of this academy who're suppose to safeguard the children (while their parents are working to pay their tuition which simply ends up as salary for these so-called educators) have FAILED to do so.
