Spain is being plagued economic crisis.
In fairness naman sa Turkey liberated sila compared to other Moslem countries. Legal nga abortion sa kanila eh.

Still, I'd go for Tokyo. Madaling puntahan.

if there's one city that can top beijing 2008, it would have to be tokyo. i can just imagine the hi-tech opening ceremonies featuring robots or maybe godzilla

anyways, why do i have this feeling na di pa rin handa ang rio?

Actually, dapat before 2020 maayos na siya since ang bidding nagsisimula mga 9 years before the hosting year. Kasama na sa submission ng bid ay ang program, venues and transpo. A little while after nung mag-eevaluate na ang IOC ng bids para piliin yung candidate cities.

I don't think Manila can hold this. Kailangan ng city na hindi masyadong naapektuhan ng monsoon, medyo malaki yung area at kaya pang tayuan ng venues like Davao or Cebu or Puerto Princesa.

It would be interesting to see Istanbul host the Olympics.

But I'd like to see Japanese technology being showcased through out the games as well. Maybe we can see some android muses for the participating countries?

    GOLD COAST - Australia

Will be hosting the 2018 Commonwealth Games. Now in the process of developing new infrastructures to compliment the already existing ones, it will be another big sporting event Down Under after the 1956 Melbourne and 2000 Sydney Olympics.

Perfect weather if held around mid sept, temperature just perfect for competition. Not so hot and humid, not so cold and damp either...just a cool wisp of fresh spring. Nice weather indeed with clear blue skies, long stretch of beaches, barbies, all day surfing...hot chics and cool dudes. What else could you ask for.

    So...:Come on Down mates!
