Read in another thread that Alex Nuyles' shoulder injury is "season-ending". This is sad news indeed because we don't want anyone to get hurt in this UAAP games, despite the intensity of the competition.

With this development, Adamson's opponents will have a relatively easier time in winning against them. Other Falcons must step up and help Brondial, Camson, et.al to give their opponents a run for their money. Otherwise, it would be a hard climb to the semis for this team.

UST's greatest opponent here would be complacency.

In any case, good luck to both teams and hoping for an injury-free season ahead.

Without Nuyles, UST can put this game away by the end of the first half.

6 games down, 1 more to go for both these teams. Adamson just absorbed a loss from UE, giving the latter its first win of the season. Couple that with Nuyles' absence, it is really demoralizing. Now UST is on a roll, coming off a tough win against UP. Adamson must overcome their predicament and use their loss against UE to rally a win from UST.

Now I didn't get the chance to watch the UE-Adamson game earlier, but UST must take a leaf out of UE's book and learn how they got their win today. UST can handle Adamson, more so with Nuyles on the sidelines. But still, Adamson gave DLSU a good scare last sunday. They can still be very deadly and could still snatch a win against UST.

This is another game wherein Coach Pido can make use of his bench. Kim Lo has made a huge impact in the versus UP game. Louie Vigil has played significant minutes in the last 2 games. I hope that their presence will be greatly felt in this game and that the others will get the chance to play as well.

NU and DLSU tied at 4-3 card. If we win tomorrow, we'll be up 2 games against these to teams. For the Tigers, I hope they learn again some lessons in their last game against UP, they should control the game from the get go.
