    Residential CCTV Systems

    Some questions:
May mga pipe chase naman dito sa bahay, dun dumaan lahat, plumbing and another for electricals and phone/cabletv/internet.

What's a good camera brand? Weatherproof and indoor? Syempre yung nasa labas yung tipong rain or shine walang problems.

When our dogs start barking aalis sila, mamaya andyan na naman.

  12. #12
@amusing don't ever try to open the housing of any of your electric/electronic appliances. High voltage yan! Kindly seek professional help from any of your neighboring appliance repair center.

suggestion ko lang, if you are looking for good IP cam for CCTV, look for Foscam, tested na yan mura pa. me wireless model sila para worry free sa mga rats, etc.

Hi. I am planning to install cctv system, too. I inquired with CD-R King (checkd out their website) and saw their wired cctv cameras with infrared detection are priced as low as P880 each (indoor dome type), the camera with longer infrared sensing is at P990. The camera kit already includes power adapter and 10 meters of BNC cable. Their 8-channel DVR (recorder unit w/o HDD) is only P3280 to P4,500, you can have HDD installed by pc parts supplier for 3k-6k, 500GB to 2TB. With LAN interface na ito so camera inputs can be viewed remotely (internet) from up to 16 IP addresses. Their IP cameras of which you can control the PTZ (pan-tilt-zoom) is only P2,380.

Now the question is, do their system really work? Meron na po bang gumagamit nito ngayon sa inyo or may info about how good it works? Nagkakaproblem ba sa moisture or condensation ang mga indoor dome camera kapag ginamit outdoors under the media agua roof?

Thanks for any feedback. Let us all keep our household safe from intruders.

Same question so up for this. Saka pwede kaya yun 8-channel lang bilin ko from cdr king and buy ako foscam? San ba nakakabili nun foscam para wireless?

  16. #16

    foscam

wala po kinalaman sa kanila. was just researching same topic nung isang araw at natisod ko:

    http://foscam.com.ph/

  17. #17

  18. #18
@miletjs: Siguro kaya walang wireless camera sa CD-R King except sa IP cameras, which directly link to your wireless router and is accessible/viewable online through your mobile device. Ok na yung 8-channel para may spare ka, that is, kung maayos nga talaga itong low-priced device na ito as it claims sa features and specs sa website.

Sana may makapag-feedback about these products..

Parang computer lang din yan. May sariling compatibility bawat model/unit.
