Shenzen Visa for Filipinos Question- HELP

    Hi!

I'm planning to go to Shenzen this coming September via HK. I read that you have to get the visa from the boundary itself (HK-Shenzen).

Mahirap po ba makakuha ng Shenzen visa for Filipinos? We all know na may issue ngayon ang China at Philippines. I read that they don't issue Shenzen visa to UK and Americans.

    Anybody, help?

    Thanks!

Palagay ko mahirap nga yan.... Saang bansa ba yang Shenzen?

    China...

It's different from Beijing na pwede dito na sa Pilipinas kumuha. 'Pag sa Shenzhen, sa entrance mismo kukuha.

It's the same as Beijing and all other Chinese cities. You need to get the China visa in the Philippines.

    commoner, bakit sabi dito?

I've been to Beijing already. Okay naman yung visa. Pero that was almost two yearsa go. Wala pa issue between countries.

Call the China embassy.

And this is from the link you gave me:

Very Recent Visit, should have listened.

Please list Philippine passport as one of the countries not allowed to get a Shenzhen SEZ Visa. We went there last December 23, 2011 and we were denied of a visa. The immigration official just said "This passport cannot get a visa here so you should go back to Hong Kong". It's a big hassle, since the trip to Lo Wu takes around 1 hour and then the departure from Hong Kong should be cancelled as well, so it took us around 3 hours just to get back to Hung Hom. Big waste of time. I should have listened to my fiancee and go straight to Mong Kok instead. I relied on your list, so it should be helpful if you updated it with the information I provided.—Guest Ishralene09
    Forget it!

We were just at the border at Lo Wu station in HK yesterday and to our gross disappointment, they no longer issue visas for Shenzhen to PH passport holders at the border. After almost an hour on the MTR, we only got yelled at at the visa processing office on the 2nd floor. Since they're not at all tourist-friendly, all the visa guy could say, no, scream in his broken English through the window was "No Visa!" after taking one glance at our passports. Apparently, the procedure for securing their visa for us lowly Pinoys has changed and it's not posted ANYWHERE. We ended up wasting 2 hours and HKD 70 for the train ride back and forth. —Guest Kim

Haha, kaya ako nagtanong sa Pinoyexchange kasi sa mga reviews na nabasa ko about it! Parang umikot lang. ) Baka lang kas meron among you na nakapunta na Shenzhen via HK.

Pero thanks commoner, I'll probably call the Embassy of China about this.

^ marilyn: Like I said po, iba ata ang Shenzen visa. I've been to Beijing.

Sa Hong Kong kami sa first 3 days then our last day was at Shenzhen China. We took a train from Hong Kong to Shenzhen.

Sasakay kayo ng Train niyan from Hong Kong to Shenzhen.
