    enough sleep to grow muscles?

alam ko 8 hours dapat ang tulog. but, in my case 5-7 hours lang tulog ko minsan because of my study. I thing i noticed is my strength, i can't add 5lbs in my workout everytime na puyat ako.

lack of sleep = slow progression
lack of eat = slow progression

    quality of sleep

actually there have been studies that 8 hours are not really necessary. It depends on the individual's capacity to sleep and recover, in my case, I can only sleep for straight 6 hours then automatically I will wake up either it's weekdays or weekends. Pero lunchtime I powernap 30 minutes and 6-^:30 powernap again for 30 minutes, before hitting the gym. So it sums to 7 hours a day.

gaano ka lalim ang 6 hours mo?

if 6 hours tapos sa gabi pa tulog mu and malalim talaga ok naman siguro yun. In my end **** 7 hours na sleep is not enough kasi laging graveyard shft ako eh after the long run fatigue...

According to Robb Wolf of the Paleo Solution, he suggests 8 to 9 hours of sleep in a completely dark (pitch black) room. I think quiet is also suggested.

Dark means no light at all, except maybe red. So all LED devices should be covered.

According to a classmate who is now in the military, 6 hours is enough to be battle ready.

Personally, even though I wake up with an alarm clock, I try to get as much quality sleep as I can. But things get in the way, like baby crying, or wife wanting something (whatever that is) or the night light gets turned on, etc.

^ have you considered checking how and when you eat and your activities?? these can also affect the quality of your sleep

subukan mo yung musclepharm bulletproof. yung kasama ko sa gym matagal nang may matinding insomnia, 3-4 hour lang tulog nya putol putol pa. so 1st day nya ng bulletproof nakatulog sya ng 6 hours straight. the next day 10 hours straight na.
