Hello my fellow Filipinos...as God has said and promised in the form of the rainbow, He will never destroy the earth with another flood, I am so happy I belong to a race where people are resilient and in the face of adversity, we can still smile and if push comes to shove, we got each other's backs. Nakakahanga, nakakabilib ang tibay at tatag ng Pinoy.

It's in our culture too, that is why this gorgeous man who was born in a foreign land but raised as a true blue Pinoy amazes us to no end. Kahit sa baha tumawid, makasama lang at matulungan ang babaing minamahal at nirerespeto nya and for what? Para maibalik sa mga tao ang pagmamahal na nararanasan nila.. Love begets love. I can't help but remember the lines of "My Binondo Girl"...ang lalaking mabait sa magulang, magiging mabuting asawa. He was raised by his mom in the old conservative Filipino way, a catch, as they say, for any decent wonderful girl, that's why I think he was destined for this girl whom he finds amazing, yun din pala ang tingin ni Mommy kay Kim, amazing din.And amazing, they both are.
That's why I think a star who shines so brightly deserves nothing but something as brillant...walang bagay sa isa't-isa kundi sila lang. I am reminded of what Xian said in his "Vibes Tayo" manipulation....haha, hindi ko masabing interview, eh, it seems like it was more of a manipulation, pero hindi pa rin napigilang makapagsalita si Xian at sabihing SWAK sila ng family ni Kim. I so believe that. Belong na belong na sya and I am happy to see na napupuno ng isa't-isa ang kakulangan ng bawat isa.

It's heartwarming to see Kim spread the love she obviously feels right now. She didn't waste any time and braved the rains with her "good friend" and even helped in the packing herself. I know she is a generous person, but it's beautiful to see that she has someone by her side who share the same ideals. Talk about love that's inspiring,which is what is so beautiful about love, it's contagious and if spread around, it makes the world a better place.

I am to happy and too proud of them to even mind the negativity around...so I will not even bother addressing it. Besides, now I am really sure that they can weather anything that comes their way...that is why Xian and Kim made me realize something.

We got through Ondoy and we will certainly get over this...dahil mahal natin ang isat-isa...

The images of our fellow Filipinos rescuing their fellow men,a man carrying his dog on his back in the pouring rain while braving the flood..a mother who shielded her newborn from the rain even if she herself was soaking wet...to Xian Lim's tweet asking if it was safe for a car to cross Marcos Highway...and the next thing we know, he was seen buying relief goods with Kim and finally, Kim's Ate's picture on Instagram.

...the monsoon rain has no power over true love.

Pray for The Philippines and keep safe, everyone, wherever you are.
