ang nakalagay sa likod ng 300 pesos na prepaid ay, upon first use, in 75 days dapat ma consume na ang amount na 300 pesos. so from 60 days dati, naging 75. almost three months.

come on, this is just common sense. you need a court ruling to determine what's wrong or right?
let me make it clear for you. binayaran mo na yung load. bakit mageexpire eh hindi naman yon napapanis? fair ba na i-artificially expire ang isang bagay na bayad na for no apparent reason other than 'nasa terms and conditions' ito? ay meron pa palang isang reason, kelangan mabawi ng kumpanya ang kanilang ROI by hook or by crook.
a peso for a single text is actually already overpriced considering that the maintenance expense does not scale with the amount of consumption. that's why they can afford unlimited text for a paltry sum. because no matter how many texts you send out, their maintenance expense remains fairly static.
so on top of overpricing their prepaid load, they still have the gall to artificially expire it even though you already paid for it and even though it does not cost them anything whether you use it one day from now or one year from now. i can sort of understand those that are okay with it just because they are used to it and have learned how to manage, but someone like you who actually went out of his way to rabidly defend the business practice seriously baffles me. you don't even know the numbers yourself and yet you went ahead and assumed that they must be doing it in good faith. if you really know business, you shouldn't be assuming good faith from big companies. unless business 101 lang inintindi mo...
--sent from my HTC Cha Cha

Unprecedented does not mean impossible.

Oh well. Nothing more to say.
will be and always be PRO-BUSINESS because business brings jobs. Consumer rights are important, too, but I don't see expiration as unfair and illegal. It is part of the BUSINESS MODEL to make money. PROFIT IS GOOD.

Why is it a bad argument? I'm merely pointing out that other products also have expiry dates.
Bottomline: every product has a different marketing model.
Yeah? Have you tried buying at the supermarket and paying with your pre-paid balance?

But hey, this is a public forum, anyone can post as they please within the forum rules. Opposing views is what makes a forum.

Example:
Vodaphone Australia
$10 - 7 days
$30 - 28 days
$50 - 30 days
$70 - 30 days
Source: http://www.vodafone.com.au/personal/...s/prepaid-caps
