First of all thanks to acer2009 who pointed us to this very funny, witty and entertaining Youtube polemic.
Watching this, I thought to myself, do so-called evangelicals really teach their children the Golden Rule that not only Jesus, but so many other spiritual teachers taught?
Evangelicals are advised to just jump to 3:35 unless they want to hear even more painful things coming from this guy...
I remembered that in the evangelical school I went to very little (if any) emphasis was given to this very basic teaching. The #1 primary thing the evangelicals taught was to fear their puppet "God" and to mindlessly recite the name of Jesus over and over again like brainwashed cultist. (And now I realize that catholics, while not as depraved as the evangelicals are, do share similarities)
For evangelists/evangelicals, acknowledging Jesus' moral teachings are an inconvenience that they brush away at any opportunity. This is because to them "being saved" is far more important than actually listening to what Jesus had to say.
