Wala ding hook shot si Kyle or that fade-away jump shot ala Dirk Nowitzki. His arsenal is a bit limited to the conventional jump shot. He still has to develop a lot, skill-wise. I say let us get the Semerads back on board. These rugby-built players are what we need to bang bodies inside. We used them in the last two campaigns and in both times we won championships.
Dan has been in The Den since summer.
Mike Advani said CRM likes him. Unless there are surprising developments, he's on track to play major minutes next year with Anjo's graduation. He had a good stint in the national team under Coach Eric Altamirano, a fellow cub, but got caught up in the mess in DLSU under Coach Dindo Pumaren.
So we'll have Baser, Ironman, Utoy, and Dan at the backcourt.
Hooboy...ang tagal pa bago maglaro ulit ang koponan natin...
In the meantime, what else is there to do?
You know how the other side keeps harping about their 30,000 pound bunker buster post from their biggest dope like they came upon the Rosetta Stone.
Too bad the dope didn't do a little due diligence audit.
Take their Survey#1:
Letran(32) is higher than Assumption College(105) College of the Holy Spirit(163), St. Paul QC(174), which was taken from a website which advertises itself as:
"Best Colleges in The Philippines
all popular school around the queen country of the Philippines.updates, rankings, news, everything about your school,. come share joined us now"
"THE UUAP CHEERDANCE COMPETITION." 'Nuff said.
Their survey No. 2 says:
Letran(13) is ahead of Asian Institute Of Management (19), Miriam College(Maryknoll)(23), Silliman University(26), PSBA(35), International School(46), Ateneo Graduate School of Business(75).
The qualification: Main factors are size, visibility, research papers, scholars.
-In short, maingay ka lang.
Finally, their survey #3 says:
Letran(36) is ahead of Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila(59), Mindanao State U(62), Assumption College(66), St Paul University Manila(71), College of the Holy Spirit(131), UERM(141) St Paul University QC(168).
Qualification: Web popularity.
Conveniently, academics wasn't a focal point. But then they themselves said that. As if that mitigates their stupidity at submitting these and gloating over a 30,000 pound dud.
Please... when, WHEN will our Red Lions play again?
I'm so tired of laughing to death.
yung roster ba ay yung tandang? wahahaha
kasali kaya *** prodigal twins dun?
Last I heard, hindi pa nagpapractice ang kambal. Baka nahihiya pa magpakita sa gym. Hehe.
infairness yung out of town game may nanunuod na crowd
di nga lang alam kanino sumusuporta
parang tribute kay comedy king dolphy yun sa kabila, walang katapusan katatawanan, buti nalang na dyan sila atleast meron tayong entertainment habang wala pa tayong game! ahahahaha!
sorry mga kapatid...i was really intrigued by simon's post and checked the site...if you want some good laugh, go to universidadsasilangan blogspot...laughtrip nga naman yung buong site. sorry ot...inuman na!
And the other side keeps putting in slapstick comedy material at their own expense.
They've b!tchslapped themselves so hard with a dud that they have a dyslexic view of reality.
May "UUAP" na nga silang pinanghahawakan eh, so what's next? "NNCA?"
Ayaw pa kasing tumigil, eh.....
Never give up, never give in.....to the bitter end.
Just to share what I learned when I posted at the Litran Thread. I learned that they are dumber than I thought.
letran college - home of the ust rejects.
I really hope that we get the twins to play again. We need bigs, ang dami na natin guards. I like Dan Sara but Tiongson I think is better kaya lang with our rosters both in Team Animo and Behold, I think we have to let go on some of our guards. Masyado ng crowded in that position.
I noticed that CRM usually starts with Caram, Melo, Jake, Kyle and Rome. I don't think that this is our strongest five. Defensively to set the tone, I think he should start with Baser, Rome, Kyle, Jake and Ola.
This is a funny read. A hilarious exchange of opinions by letranites who think highly of their school hahahahahahahaha. I cringe at their very high level of communication skills . No wonder, even letranites in pex are not articulate…. and literate.
LETRANITES...do you agree with the linkage made by the Dominicans between LETRAN and UST?
UST-Letran admission tie-up set | The Varsitarian

Letran Mgt we should step out in the shadows of UST .. I'm tired of hearing na dahil sister school and kaya lumipat kasi mas maraming maccredit na subjects as compared to transferring into other universities .. stereotyped na tuloy ang Letran .. lol

Mark Dennis V Uyaco hell no!! I dont like this tie up! personally because i lived in a jesuit community in my chilhood years and encouragement from my parents ii was suppose to study in ateneo, but knowing letran which has the traditions and rich history,i choose to study there without even thinking to apply in UST
February 1, 2010 at 4:05pm
Gilbert Ricaforte obviously, this is unfair on the part of Letran. It was never mentioned that students who passed Letran's Entrance exam can enroll in UST. Whats happening to the admin again?
February 2, 2010 at 6:18am
Jamaica Martinez Retamal This is unfair! The virtue of Letran is losing. Letran should have high standard, not goin' down. Knights are warriors and fighters, its like bringing or rather having honour and prestige. Sorry for the peeps in admin, but frankly telling this is the very stupid move they will do. I love my school and im very proud to be Letranites. Don't lose this virtue...

February 5, 2010 at 6:48pm
Jay Flores WTF! No... I definitely will not agree to that matter! That ain't fair! The Dominicans should think many times before deciding to that matter. Yes, we're not like Benilde to La Salle... LETRAN IS LETRAN! The Letran community should not agree to this crap... Let the UST community make their version of Benilde...
February 6, 2010 at 11:09am
Jamaica Martinez Retamal @ Rocky S. Lacanlale - i didnt mean that UST having low standard what i mean is what Letran will be if they will accept students failed to enter their preffered courses due to limited slots in UST. if u will analyze r point of discussion here then u should know what i mean.
February 7, 2010 at 11:21am
*** mga NAUBUSAN LANG NG SLOT..*** mga mababagal magpa-reserve ng slot at mag enroll hehehe...it's not that bad.
February 8, 2010 at 10:29am
John Orencillo Ano to pera pera nalang? Passers man yan or mga rejects Letran shouldn't be just an option. anu ba naman yan pinag gagagawa ng mga tao dyan.
February 10, 2010 at 7:55am

UST 1611, Letran 1620. For me, mapa UST or Letran ka man, DOMINIKANO ka padin.

Michael Albert Ochengco Rogel Confirmed.. My cousin just failed to pass her 1st choice course at UST. Right after knowing the result she is advised to go to Letran, where she can freely enroll her failed course at UST without any entrance exams or interview. So sad, how come the management agreed to this arrangement?
April 21, 2010 at 4:42pm
April 21, 2010 at 4:52pm
Nicanor Joseph Nepomuceno Jr. Pera-pera kasi pinapairal. We should stand our ground. 'Di dapat tapunan ng bagsak sa USTE ang Letran. San na yung pinagmamalaki natin na ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE?
April 25, 2010 at 6:19am

Kat Hernandez Merto The whole UST-Letran "sisterhood" is not okay to me. Although we all know that those who did not make the cut for UST enrolls at Letran, let's just keep that as an internal matter, a secret. Haha
