Tickets to the games

I like the system now. I live in the far south of the metro. Before, I used to troop to Araneta all the way from the south just to get early tickets, or chance it up on the actual game date, or go to the alumni office of my school to get them, or ask some of my friends to buy for me. But now, I can just purchase online, and go to the nearest sm ticket office, which there are four in my general area.

I guess I just managed to get my ticket with the best timing. I feel sorry for those who were extremely hassled by the new system. I have encountered such harsh experiences myself long before. Imagine, going to Araneta hoping to buy and get tickets all the way from my place, then zilch. Really frustrating. At least now, when I go to the nearest SM ticket office and there's none, its not really much hassle.

We'll find out if I still like the system this week. I'm going to try to purchase tickets online to the DLSU-FEU game as soon as it comes out. Should be a little difficult since the highly-anticipated ADMU-NU game is the main event for the same day.

How do you do the online booking? I'm already on the page where I get to select the seat but when I click on Continue there's this pop-up message that I have to fill-up the Seat Field which is not on the screen?

bawal ang online reservation afaik.. btw bibili sana ako kanina ng tickets para sa game sa sunday nabigla ako 75 pesos yung sa patron.. yun pala para sa jrs.. nagtanong ako ng para sa srs and walang makita sa computer.. btw sa sm tickets sa sm sucat ako bibili sana kanina.. pero ok pricing sa juniors ah 75 pesos sa patron and free seating..

^Kahapon pa nakasale yan. I was lucky to get a Patron seat. I have already redeemed my tickets, and yes, you can buy the tickets at any SM Cinema.

i-expect mo na na yung malaking share ng tickets ay nasa mga schools na magpaparticipate sa day na yan.. and yung patron tickets ang ginagawa ng mga schools ay para sa mga alumnus muna binibigay unless may matira..

mukhang happy ang scalpers sa bagong sistema ng SM Tickets. got a tip from friends who bought tickets at MOA earlier this morning na bultuhan ngayon kung bumili ang scalpers, especially at MOA, dahil walang kontrol at walang rules sa pagbebenta ang SM Tickets. these scalpers are the same guys who operate at Araneta Coliseum and Cuneta Astrodome.

I do not condone scalpers. They do exist. I bought tickets from them a couple of times already out of desperation minutes before my school went head on with admu in 06. All Im saying is, I see their transactions as a way of "getting-by" as they fend for themselves and their families. They represent the black market and if we want to ban them in uaap, we might as well ban all street junk food operators the likes of isaw, fishball, etc. but the govt. through the BIR does not regulate or prohibit these acts simply because they muster economic activity much more SM.So I let them be.

para namang hindi ganito sa Araneta lalo na kapag maganda yung mga laro.. tama lang naman na yung malaking share ng tickets ay ibigay sa school para doon bumili ang mga students and alumnus.. and sa sm tickets na yung mga outsider.. kung ubos agad yung ticket sa school di na kasalanan ng sm or scalpers yun.. maybe dahil madaming bumili and naunahan ka or may pinagbibigyan yung school..
