Naisip ko lang, since sobrang dami ng contract artists ng ABS-CBN, I think it will be a good idea kung they introduce Philippine dramas instead of teleseryes. This strategy can start once the Philippines is ready to activate digital television.
You know, katulad ng Koreans, Japanese and Taiwanese, instead of 30 minute shows and 5 days a weeks. Why not air a full one hour show NOT including commercials and only TWO DAYS A WEEK, then every show will only have a total of 16-20 episodes. 24-30 episodes kung patok na patok pero thats how long it could go para hindi mag drag. This will also open the chance for filipinos to sub the episodes into english for foreign viewers para mas ma recognise ang filipino drama.
So magiging ganto ang Primetime Bida kung sakali:
7:45-9:00: Princess And I (1 hour show, the rest are commercials)
9:00-10:15 Walang Hanggan (1 hour show, rest are commercials)
10:15-11:30 Local/Asianovela (1 hour show, rest are commercials)
7:45-9:00: Lorenzo's Time
9:00-10:15: Kahit Puso'y Masugatan
same goes with Kapamilya Gold.
With this ABS can air approx 12-14 dramas in a whole week.
